Has anyone else played in an arena?

Went to sectionals in BBall, and took the warmups. (lol 10th man)
Dayton arena. Stands were like 1/5th full. Still pretty amazing the buzz of the crowd, and then the lack of shooting background. Also they aren't kidding about bright lights.

72off: no, that's what i meant, vancouver is so far from other NHL cities that it's really pricey to see a game elsewhere. meanwhile there's like 8 NHL buildings closer to me.

I took my cheating slut ex to that concert since Enrique is her favorite. That's the night I first saw on her phone an outgoing call to her ex when she misclicked while snapping pictures of the show. Man. But the concert was actually worthwhile. Pitbull opened, and because his songs are all him rapping with someone else singing the chorus, he would just have the audio track of the singer during the chorus, so EVERYONE in the ACC would sing along to J-Lo or Marc Anthony or whoever's part and it was a really great atmosphere. Then Enrique came on and slayed it. The reason it was so loud is because Enrique and Pit would both periodically go "anyone here hablar espanol?" and the crowd was like 90% Hispanic people so they would just go nuts. It was full capacity + floor. Must have been 20k people there.

Enrique lived in Toronto for a few years when he was starting his music career so he liked Toronto a lot and played the crowd well. When he did "Hero" as the last song of his set he was like "listen, I grew up in this city, became a man in this city, so I only have one request for security. For this song, let everyone do whatever the **** they want." So we ran up really close, like 20 feet away from him, as he picked a random woman from the crowd and serenaded her on stage.

Amazing concert. Mixed memories. No regrets.

And that was the loudest and most amped I've ever seen the Air Canada Centre.
