LOL...yes, let's just ignore all statistics and objective analysis and instead rely on "the eye test" and wild speculation.

And LOL @ sagarin being "some USA Today columnist" with "dumbass stats."

The point of my post was that the Flyers play for half of the regular season, which believe it or not effects their stats, is not indicative of how they are playing now. Thanks for reading.

And this has what to do with the Sag ratings?

You're right, I don't. I've just watched a ****load of Flyers games this year and can tell the difference between when they are motivated and passionate and when they aren't. Call it the "eye test" if you want but how a team/player is playing NOW is much more significant than how they were playing in the past. Ask Roberto Luongo.

Edit: Cool edit bro.

well given that some people seriously believe that he's better than someone like Kesler, he's almost certainly overrated.

yeah yeah yeah, three 1st lines, seven #1 centers, suffered a huge injury loss in Pronger...and that's about it (meanwhile no one else in the league has suffered a single injury), as good as their hot streaks but the bad streaks don't matter, either does the goalie carousel, etc, etc, etc...we know. believe me, we know.

Well score tied fenwick in cross conference games suggest that the conferences are effectively the same. Granted, Likens ran these #s early on in the season, but as of then, the only thing that was driving aggregate WC wins was a 1.5% higher EVSH%.

And Philly is not barely a Top 10 team in the league. They are phenomenal territorially with the score tied. People like Likens/Gabe and others have talked at length about how important even strength territorial play is.

I'm not some Philly homer, in fact, I troll them harder than any non-EC fan. They aren't the best team in the league like some were saying early in the season, but they are the 2nd best team in the EC, and probably the 5th best team overall.

i'm not stopping him.
