So far nothing has been confirmed. Hopefully it's just some idiot on Twitter spreading a rumor about another enforcer's death because of what happened with Rypien and Boogard.

Are they actually confirming the story or are they reporting on what was said on twitter?

I said it before this string of deaths and ill say it again, fighting needs to be eliminated immediately. The benefits don't even come close to the risks, not even physically but in the sense that it makes the league look like a WWe sideshow.

Never miss an opportunity to jump to conclusions when you can use somebody's death to push an agenda!

take your commie euro-pussy liberal agenda and shove it up your ass! we don't need no kind of fancy-schmancy figure skating game where no teeth don't get broken.

This death, nor the other ones did anything to change my "agenda". My opinion has always been consistent on this matter and no matter what the cause of death is, that's not going to change.

That's not very consistent with "fighting needs to be eliminated immediately"

Is it the fighting that's causing the mental illness, or the mental illness that draws these guys to the fighting?

I some how missed this post. Just saw on facebook that he died in the building my buddy lives in where I spent the weekend at the first of the month.

That's a good point, although again my opinion isn't necessarily based on the physical trauma (although that could be another reason to eliminate it), but more about the things I've mentioned before.

I didn't say it changed your agenda. Careful reading would show that I'm disgusted by your jumping on his death as a way to PUSH your preexisting agenda, within hours of his death.

Assuming his death, coupled with those of Rypien and Boogaard (re-)spark a discussion here, I hope it can stay intelligent so as to constructively further ponder the future of enforcing in the NHL as well as what parties must bear some degree of responsibility.

(not that I have much to add).
