Seems like a pretty standard yahoo sports article where they put out a ridiculous list of top x players / teams so they can get a bunch of views and comments from people who link to it on other forums going 'LOL THESE PEOPLE GET PAID TO WRITE ABOUT HOCKEY'.

giroux looks like he could hit the weight room.

it is actually kind of a compliment though because hes already played really great so far in his career, if he could add like 15-20 pounds of muscle he could elevate his game even further imo.

Long term contracts have become more common these days and many players seem to prefer them to get some stability in their lives. Zherdev is known as a journeyman who signs one year deals, switching teams every year. He says it's a choice.

I'm at the gym but was just thinking to myself that there has to be some math equation to fix Corsi to adjust to zone starts to get a "true Corsi number". The same principle could be applied to fenwick.

If I multiply corsi by 1/zone start (expressed as a fraction of one), the larger the value attained, the better. As a result, one should get a value that compared to other "true Corsi numbers", could be useful.

It's pretty safe to say that if Bobby Orr says Steckel on Crosby was intentional and dirty; Steckel on Crosby was intentional and dirty.

Oh wait this is also what the WHITEGOOOOOOOOOSE has been saying all along.
