Nabokov currently sporting the worst save% in the playoffs, money well spent imo.

sigh

4-3 loss at home after being up 2-0..... not good.

Well then.. obviously he is the best in the league!

Only a couple years of Midget A and Bantum, I was before my time. But I played roller hockey on the mean streets of California for many summers. Sadly I don't have a signed hat by any professional hockey players.

I'm really happy I picked Boston now as my upset, but I still want to see Buffalo go deep cause it's a lot of fun to listen to Ricky on the radio in the playoffs.

Losing Vanek is a massive, massive blow, as already stated itt.

Meh.. the contract is what it is... people get overpaid all the time, sports and non-sports alike.

I know that there will be a bunch of teams interested in him this offseason, so that must say something.

Here's the thing with Nabby... and we talked about this before in either this thread or the reg season thread... Nabby is one of those high variance goalies. When he is off his game and playing bad, he is very bad, but when he is on, he is sick good. Unfortunately for him and the Sharks, he has not been his best during most of the playoffs.

I also said that I fully expect him to not be a Shark next year, but will be more than happy if he was.

Ha.. had the same thoughts today when I went for my haircut.

On the other hand,I really wish I got into hockey as a youth, watching the game over the years has been great. Can only imagine what playing in a league would have been like.
