Yeah, I remember when that started with the Habs series a few years ago. I was lolling @ us more than anybody.

But it's more directed toward the Canadian fans who show up like they own the place than the teams.

this... the only time madison square garden does USA chants is when habs fans show up and realllllllly push their luck with chants and tomfoolery... i'm pretty sure 'usa' chants have happened at like 8 habs-ranger games i've been to and literally 0 leafs, flames, canucks, senators games lol

(no offense flyingrat)

Leafs fans have done it too in the past. I've gotta go, but I'll share a story when I come back about a Habs fan who pushed his luck a little too much.

Projected End of Season Standings
Eastern
Washington 121
Pittsburgh 104
Buffalo 100
New Jersey 103
Ottawa 96
Philadelphia 91
Boston 88
Atlanta 85

Montreal 84
Tampa Bay 83
NY Rangers 83
Florida 79
Carolina 77
NY Islanders76
Toronto 67

Western
San Jose 117
Chicago 115
Vancouver 103
Phoenix 103
Los Angeles 103
Colorado 101
Nashville 95
Detroit 93

Calgary 92
St. Louis 87
Dallas 87
Minnesota 86
Anaheim 86
Columbus 77
Edmonton 59

I think the East is pretty cut and dry with Was/Pit/Buf/Ott advancing out of first round and Was/Pit playing in the ECF barring Miller playing like he did in olympics, whichever team that has to play them in 2nd round will not be happy and I think whoever faces Ott in 2nd round makes Cup Finals as they will be better rested

The West is gonna be the more exciting conference by far with Detroit getting healthy, SJ holding their sticks too tight after the past couple years early exits. The middle group of Van/Phx/LA/Col will be some great hockey early as they are even matched, but Luongo obviously is biggest scare in that batch

Top 5 Favorites to win cup
1 Washington
2 Pittsburgh
3 Chicago
4 Vancouver
5 Buffalo

Holy ****. I have a sports package with my cable provider, but I never knew that I got some extra hockey channels in the 700s.

Just browsed thru and I have like 9 or 10 hockey channels with a separate game on each channel. This is awesome.

I was afraid Habs were going to do something stupid like win this game, I'm glad it's already out of reach. We can now concentrate on tanking to get Tyler Seguin.

The arena in Buffalo I think by far gets the worst influx of canadian fans due to proximity to Toronto etc...

Toronto season tickets that suck 10kish a pair
Buffalo great seasons 6kish

I have sat in my seasons and been surrounded entirely by people wearing opposing canadian team jersey. There are canadians who buy seasons just top attend all the canadian team games and just root against Buffalo... talk about annoying

Wow, especially since they're in last place in the East. Canadians are definately a bit crazy their hockey, that still seems pretty ridiculously high though for seats "that suck"

Its based on points accumulated per games played...example Was earns at this point 1.47 pts per game which adds up to 121 over 82games..

I don't watch enough WC games to project them out so this is most arbitrary.

Its ridiculously profitable to sell tickets especially for Leafs games, I have sold 300s for 125+ a ticket... I pay roughly 26 a ticket in package so its almost dumb not to.

Buffalo fans may be verbally aggressive but I have yet to hear a story of anything physical happening...well aside from 2 of my friends throwing 4 Montreal fans down 3 rows of seats after a late season loss 2 years ago in which Sabres were up 2 with under 2 minutes left.

Way to add to the debate instead of hurling insults..

Based on Sharks tendency to choke come playoffs its not that much of a crazy idea... their clearly 6th on the list.

plus Miller >>> Nabakov

Ill await you pointing out the offensive discrepancies between the teams, but when It comes playoffs a hot goalie will get you much further.
