I was talking to a friend of mine that knows nothing about hockey and said he went to a rangers game while in NY with his gf and "the senators were up by 2 at the end of the 3rd and they didn't even play the 4th period!! everyone just left...." apparently they were sitting there until they took the nets off the ice.

When I did tell them the rangers are terrible and they both overwhelming agreed with me

I wonder how Canes fans feel right now. Do you get excited winning games at this point? They have almost no shot at the playoffs after their horrible start, the only thing winning does is keep them out of the running for Taylor Hall.

No the problem is they paid a bunch of restricted free agents to much money based on one great playoff run as their contracts expired.

Mac T must be loving it though

lol at the guy saying that they have to pay philipps and valchenkov 10m+ to stay together, afterwards he compares them to thre pronger/niedermayer pairing.
this guys certainly high on drugs that I wanna have to..

The Sens are really good. I might root for them in the playoffs.

Importance to team, the Sens pairing is the same as Niedermayer/Pronger. $10 million plus can't be much more than what the two of them make together now, is it?

Importance to team != value

I think $10M for those two is too much, probably by a couple mill.

Anyway, who compared them to Nieds/Pronger? Probably garrioch

Calgary hooking - 2 min 14:08, C. Sarich
Calgary hooking - 2 min 14:08, C. Sarich

Is that a typo, or did Sarich really get a double-minor for hooking? What a slut!

Wow, that was a pretty weak call on Korpikoski, which means that the Flames will surely score here.

This Sharks/Hawks game should be fun...

Sarich already had a hooking penalty on a pinch that led to a 2-on-1, and then as he's coming back into the play, he hooked Vrbata again and picked up a 2nd penalty.

Calgary might've tied it up here...

I think that's a goal.

Had to lol @ the Flames PPV team doing a feature on the Cup run team from a few years back. Wonder if that was planned a long time ago, or something to keep the fans off the ledge.

Of course it's no goal. Why would the Flames get a break...

If there was another angle from the opposite side of the ice, that very well could've been called a goal. With the angles shown, inconclusive, so the right call. Sigh. I give up.

TIME FOR THE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN EVENT!!!

You're on your own with that game, Geddy. You should really consider switching over, and stay with it even after the intermission.
