That would be Don Hutson.

He retired in 1945, was the all-time leader in receiving TDs until 19-eighty-****in'-nine. 1200 yards receiving in 1942; nobody would break 1,000 receiving yards again for a decade. All this before they invented pass blocking - at all - and when pass defense rules were what we would think of as outrageously tilted towards the defense.

depends on the old player/new player mix. the closer you get to the present, the harder it gets to over represent qbs.

i don't know. is he going to be higher than singletary, butkus or lambert? how many mlbs will be in the top 20?

i'd say 25 or so for the ray lewis o/u.

It will be interesting how they rate those 4 MLBs, they are all pretty close, but for my $, Ill take Ray Ray. Ill also bet on better then 25 for Ray if anyone wants to bet a small amount. (homer alert)
