Am I missing something or is GB -4.5 tonight just the biggest free money hammer of all time?

Aren't they on the road in Kansas City?

And isn't their coach Fat Mike?

Chiefs pass rush might cause problems for Rodgers. If I was betting I'd be taking Green Bay but I don't think it's free money.

Both have +'s and -'s to them, draft twitter doesn't value competitive toughness (or the reverse red flag) anywhere near as much as they should but every draft there's old school football guys who fall in love with guys that just don't have the film to back it up and then they're all shocked when they bust and I'm just like duh...

The frustrating thing is when the NFL tries way too hard to knock a guy down for made up red flags or for only dumb reasons. I actually read this year "mariota has no red flags, that's a red flag" somewhere. I'm not sure anything dumber about a prospect has ever been uttered.
I remember being surprised Karlos Williams fell to the Bills in the 5th round. mostly because of "red flag" issues. Looks like a steal so far.

i took some chefs -6 at a bit worse than evens, figure there's close to 0% chance packers are up by more than 2 scores at any point given fat mike, so even in the event that the chefs get battered i've still got decent garbage time cover equity

Am I naive to think that Charles can dominate and keep Rodgers off the field so Chefs win outright?

chefs can win, prob not since godgers, but a fumble here and a fat mike running play on 2nd and 15 up 3 pts with 4 mins to go in the 4th quarter there and who knows

Yes, completion percentage as a representation of accuracy is very context-dependent, but I think "five QBs all coached by the same QB coach and presumably running the same style of offense" makes for a pretty good contextual baseline to compare those guys accurately.

Only two of those guys had NFL careers to speak of-- the two who broke 60% their final season. Only the guy whose career % was over 60 was a franchise guy.

4.5 seems crazy

thought it opened at 6.5

marcus peters has been fantastic this year and pass rush is obviously very good but i think rodgers is gonna embarrass flemings clown ass all game just like peyton. on the road at cincy next week so it would sure be nice to win this game since we will be underdogs in that too

alex smith needs 7 minutes to matriculate down the field so once it's inside 4 minutes they should be golden

Who's Fleming? Wasn't Sean Smith suspended two games and now they have him back? I really like Peters / Gaines / Smith as a trio.

Bears trying to get all the 6th rounders, jon bostic to pats
Bostic hasn't played this year and struggles with mental or going anywhere that isn't in a straight line. gl with that

edit--the "why didn't they get more" comments is just like ARE YOU SERIOUS

also your 2013 draft class in chicago is kyle long and the 7th rounder. (6th is on IR but was likely gonna get cut) well at least we didn't brick the first rounder like 2/3 the NFL.

Think about the Dolphins starting Frerotte that year or the Browns starting Dilfer after picking some trash (Braylon).

That's just off the top of my head, but there were definitely needy teams and it's a bit of a headscratcher to me (still).
braylon wasnt trash
