This year's top 10 looks a lot like one would expect 2012's would look after a year.

Falcons frauds like we knew (but probably not as bad as their record, and losing Julio jones killed them
Usual suspects in playoffs

etc

1. ARC man, just let it go. The season is gone, Kubiak got fired, Schaub is benched, you are going to have a high draft pick. This is like best case scenario. Why on earth are you sweating out the rest of the train wreck? Start scouting for that second pick or whatever.

2. Rex Ryan should be coach of the year. That team has absolutely nothing and they are going to be like 8-8. Put Fat Mike or any number of other untouchable coaches on the Jets and they win like 2 games.

3. When are teams with terrible quarterbacks going to learn that going Redskins and drafting more than one in the same draft is the right move. If you're the Browns, you know Campbell is a 6 win ceiling. So keep Hoyer and draft two more. A roster spot on a 10% chance of being good QB is far better than a roster spot on Jason Campbell.

4. People saying "how can you say McCarthy should establish less when you were complaining about the Cowboys not running more" are stupid and should stop posting.

Wait - you think I want Houston to win? Lol you.

Doesn't matter who they start, they are losing to Manning. So if Keenum is hurt you might as well play Yates. Nobody wants to see Schaub in uniform again and him getting reps is not useful for anyone. Why not give Yates the reps?

It's like knowing you are going to throw some old dress shoes away but you polish them one last time.

From the local sound of it (radio hosts), they think it's an attempt to get Matt a decent send-off after 6 solid years of service here. They think if he can beat Peyton at home or at least play really well that he'll get to leave here on a much higher note than otherwise. I say **** that ****. We don't want to win and sending Matt off on some high note seems overtly diplomatic.

COY will be walrus, should be arians, but i never really considered the merits of rex ryan, and tbh pretty legitimate

Ultimate move would be to sign Tebow just for that one game vs the Broncos ldo

Riverboat Ron has a shot imo...mostly because only 2p2 knew the Panthers were legit last year :P

Obviously it's gonna be settled with a rhyme
Spoiler:
Pete or Reid

Spoiler:
Payton deserves consideration given last year vs. this year but the NFL will probably not allow it

+1 on should be Arians though disagree on Ryan. If you think Rex is legit you have to also consider the kicker's friend Harbs. I mean they are in a good spot to actually make the playoffs which is rather shocking imo...they should not win that many games and make the playoffs yet again...I dunno dude just knows how to get there even if constrained by lolFlacco-contract.

Not sure where to rank Chip Kelly btw...one could probably make a decent case for him as well

lol @ an AFC coach winning COY (except maybe GUS)

Cardinals schedule is fun. If DET/Philly make playoffs then 8 of their 12 conference games were against playoff teams. ROFL.

phb, I don't think Schaub starting gives the Texans any realistic hope of winning, either. Nothing wrong with giving Schaub a little victory lap (er, so to speak) and one chance for a decent fan sendoff.

All, it's pretty astounding we can realistically talk about what a great job Rex Ryan is doing and yet there's a legitimate chance he may be fired.

To connect these two, if the Jets fire Ryan I'd love to see Houston snap-hire him. As long as he hires a decent OC (in other words, unlike he has done in New York) that could be a killer combination.

ARC: get over the Schaub thing, man. He was a very very good QB for the Texans for five years. You're flipping the **** out over a bad six-game stretch by (by a massive margin) the best QB in Texans history, who's clearly already gone after this year. "Nobody wants to see Schaub in uniform again"? You're talking about him like he sold his playbook to another team or something.

Particularly interesting has been Palmer's play in the last 7 games

12.3 EPA/Game, which would rank him 3rd behind Peyton/McCown on the year.

Why do people keep saying "#2" when there's little chance the Texans lose the #1 pick? (They might find a way to beat Tennessee next week, so I don't want to say it's a lock.)

I kinda hope he takes this further in the legal system and wins. Isn't the issue that he "missed a test" while he was in Canada playing for the CFL, and thus while the NFL should have had no jurisdiction over him?

At a glance they don't nearly as big as his increase in performance.

@Sea is obviously going to be a bloodbath, but I would be surprised if he doesn't put up a positive EPA/P against SF at home.

Hadn't really read this story until just now. Pretty gross. Hope he wins everything.

So phb was right about the play in question, but again, that's not what really matters here.
I'm really curious as to what he posted now, because IIRC the jist of our debate was:

-The refs didn't call intentional grounding against the Ravens on a play. I said something like "I agree it should've been a penalty, but I think the refs were saying that Flacco's arm was hit(so it doesn't matter that no WR was in the area). I don't agree with the ref's interpretation, but I at least see what they are saying."

-Then later on there was an unsportmanlike conduct penalty on the Texans for something that the camera didn't pick up(and for some strange reason they didn't show a replay). ARC insisted that this was a horrible call, while I continuously asked "How on earth can you say its a bad call if they never showed what happened on TV?"

-Then I was like "Look we're both pretty biased. If you want we can just ask other people and have them arbitrate." Chim offered to do it and he pretty much exactly agreed with me.

I'm not motivated enough to find all these posts, but I'll do a quick search for the part where Chim chimes in...
