Carson Lolmer. Maybe this Tebow guy really does just win games. 14 4th quarter points to win by... 14.
Watch that game on replay. Tebow had those backers completely frozen on every big run. He was much more impressive than I thought. My goodness that boy can't throw though. If the other teams linebackers decide to play guessing games rather than their own gap Tebow and crew gonna wreck you.

This is a poker forum and you are really asking that question?
Total net yards both games combined:
Ernies: 312+392=704
Ravens: 385+356=741

First downs:
Ernies:20+20=40
Ravens:17+23=40

WIM:
Ernies: 0
Ravens: ~350

Wins:
Ernies: 0
Ravens: 2

tl;dr: Ravens > Ernies this season

Palmer made 5 or so absolutely amazing passes. I'm impressed. If the Chargers keep flailing and the Raiders are within a game in the last few games then Palmer should have plenty enough time to grow a nice rapport and take it. Dumb ass trade pretty much regardless but Palmer looks good.

Does that work? LOL @ 1 or 2 game samples. If the Steelers and Ravens played for a third time tomorrow in Pittsburgh or on a neutral field the Steelers are favored.
[x] Ravens have better record than Steelers
[x] Ravens swept division series vs Steelers
[x] Ravens have #2 scoring defense in league vs Steelers #9
[x] Ravens #7 scoring offense in league vs Steelers #12
[ ] Steelers favored in rematch

To paint a picture of this guy he's 6'3" 280 with black hair/beard so he will look funny as hell if this happens.

Currently (and through 9 games since Houston has yet to have their bye), they are:

#3 in points allowed
#1 in total yards allowed
#2 in passing yards allowed
#4 in rushing yards allowed

He said if they finished Top 5 in any of these categories he'd shave it all. #cantwait

The #2 in passing yards allowed is pretty sick considering they've played from the lead for much of the season. And it includes a 40-point shredding at the hands of Drew Brees. I knew their defense looked great with the eyeball test but this is the first I've looked at their numbers. Giggity.

To be clear, I would probably have felt comfortable making that bet, too, but it is still funny seeing it come to fruition.
Of all the many insane things of this season the Texans playing good defense, without Mario, is the most shocking.

i think you will be surprised. bengals offense is fine, very good wr core. steelers havent been lock down against the run this yr.

bengals secondary is suspect and i think mike wallace and antonio brown do some damage if roeth can avoid the rush.

will dalton be able to get him the ball though

edit: steelers looked pretty damn lock down against the run last night. don't think you can cite statistics from earlier games in the season in this regard when they have been missing people

agree. I'll go as far to say as a fully-up-to-speed Palmer makes Raiders best AFC west team. but good lord their remaining schedule is not doing them any favours, 5/8 left on the road and they blew what should've been their easy KC and DEN wins at home.

I agree up-to-speed Palmer makes them the team to beat and said so in the gameday thread. If that game is any indication he's not far away, all those great throws I mentioned were frozen ropes on deep intermediate routes both inside and outside just perfectly thrown.

And like I've said he's in the best possible situation to succeed off the couch. Hue knows him better than anyone in the league, he has better receivers than his last few seasons in Cincy and a vastly superior run game to boot. Still I'd be surprised if he gets into a nice groove for at least another month. By the end of the season there's a very good chance he is better than Campbell and not out of the question he's at a pro bowl level.

Damn, there are some pretty good games this week. Thursday Night is back obv, but we have:

OAK @ SD
JAC @ IND Failfest 2011
PIT @ CIN
NO @ ATL
DET @ CHI
NYG @ SF
NE @ NYJ

that I'm all really interested in.

OAK @ SD (heart says OAK ldo)
JAC @ IND Failfest 2011
PIT @ CIN
NO @ ATL
DET @ CHI
NYG @ SF
NE @ NYJ

Bot that is a load of great games indeed. I think I'm looking forward to the NYG-SF game because depending on how SF plays I'll move them up quite a bit in my power rankings. I think they are legit but can't quite convince myself yet.
Want to see CIN beat PIT because there's too many CIN naysayers. NE@Jets will be fun, I'm feeling the Jets (as a Sanchize hater I'll at least admit that he's playing a pretty good season for his standards). DET@CHI I have no clue tbh, gonna go with Cutler will be murdered for now. NO@ATL..would have said NO by a decent clip not too long ago but ATL has looked better than I remembered them from earlier this season while NO trends down a bit and has some injury issues
JAC@IND=the fix is in will be obvious to the last doubters

SF is an excellent team they just can't win a shootout if it were to come down to that, which probably happens eventually esp playoffs. Alex Smith is playing the definition of game manager - no turnovers, no risks - and no one has stopped the running game. I do not think you can win the Super Bowl with this unless the defense is historically elite and it isn't.

Even with a historically elite defense you can't win the superbowl because Rodgers is historically super-elite which trumps regular elite.

It was pretty ****ed up and standard how officials were all "these atheists just won't go along with our perfect war hero narrative, they hate America." All the way up the chain people were infuriated that the family wouldn't keep quiet and kept demanding answers. Damned atheists.
