Let's not forget 6 of their top 10 players this year didn't play a down in the SB.

And of the four who did three wish they could forget about it while Welker already has.

1. Bills obviously

Bills won @ Bears who won @ SF who won @ Dallas
Bills beat Dolphins who beat NE who won @ Min

if this were a merit rankings list and we ignored last seasons results, bills are clearly #1.

Reed and Mercilus finally look like 2nd and 1st round OLBs they were supposed to be. Swearinger has played well. Cushing I had no idea about since he didn't even play a single preseason down but he's looked solid.

Fitz is doing well running the offense and I love that he's targeting WRs and almost ignoring our severely lackluster TE slot. Something Kubitard and Schaub relied way too damn much on. Fitz spreads the ball around nicely. He's still not good but the team has decent enough skill guys that scoring 20 a game shouldn't be some far-fetched idea. And without throwing a pick-6 every game.

DeAndre Hopkins finally looks good opposite Andre. He showed signs last year but never got going under the perfect ****storm of a season it was.

BOB also seems non-******ed and doesn't piss possessions away like Kubitard loved to do. Randy Bullock is making kicks instead of missing them.

Still expecting more like 7 wins out of them but starting 2-0 is nice. It's not hard to imagine at all them binking the AFCS. If they can donk 2 wins against GOATv2.0 then it shouldn't be too hard at all.

I will say the eyeball test says they've run super hot on turnovers so far. Especially in the redzone. So they definitely aren't as good as the scores indicate.
Good post. I haven't watched much of the Texans yet, so I haven't formed much of an opinion. Geez, their schedule is softer than I thought. They could be 4-0 when they travel to Dallas.

Their #2 CB. They went into the SB with complete trash in the defensive backfield, now I'd say it's very good.

Von Miller as well ldo... So Von, Clady, TJ Ward, Talib, Ware, and Chris Harris Jr.

With that said though, Broncos have are about as disappointing as a 2-0 team could be. SO many miscues and dumb penalties ugh. They don't deserve to be in the top 5 with the way they've played.

I don't think I can deviate from 1. Seahawks. I just don't see any other team with as high of a ceiling although they certainly played pretty poorly today.

I think with their terrible performance today, the Lions should drop out of every top 10. Honestly there are just a ton of really mediocre teams this year.

Oh, yeah, I briefly forgot that Miller was injured. I do remember Harris playing well during the season.

My top nine are the same. Maybe even top ten. I'm moving Carolina up, and if Indy or Philly dominates tomorrow night, their rankings will shift. But... teams are just too close in the NFL for one game to move anyone too much. I have some shifting in the lower ranks, where teams showed me specific things over two games that give me indicators they'll be better than I expected. (Or worse.)

I'm not sure the 9ers are legimately a top 10 team right now. Their pass rush doesn't exist, they got dominated on both sides of the line by a team who should almost never have that advantage over any team, and their secondary is an absolute joke (despite homophobe actually being decent)

Til kaep demonstrates he can carry this team against competent defenses (which he's gonna have to do unless harbaugh's content to PRR-punt, RPR-punt or RRR-punt their way to 7-9) they have nothing til Aldrunk and bowman are back

Last week I thought I was going to get ahead of everybody else and placed 9. Titans. Thought they had a really good defense and a solid offense with a healthy Locker.

I was very very wrong.

so if indy beats philly there will only be 6 2-0 teams, only 2 of them will be in the nfc, and 3 of those 6 will be buffalo houston and arizona

what a country

I'm not really interested in joining the circle jerk of 'lol coaches are so dumb they can't even look at a few advancednflstats.com blog posts' but if there's a team destined to underperform, it's the Bengals. Marvin being a FG happy guy isn't really news but their new OC Hue Jackson was previously coach for the RBs and he really seems like a guy who likes to ESTABLISH the running game. Every Bungle fan should pray that was some sort of an overreaction to AJ going out.

But yeah, defense is prettay good, if Geno can stay healthy it should make up for the couple of offseason losses. Think Dalton is capable to go on a flacbertesque heater. The most underrated aspect is their O-line imo, Dalton usually has all the time in the world compared to other teams I'm seeing(read: no stats to really back this up so eyetest yo), Whitworth is a beast.

lol RBs and everything but giving Hill(the rookie) the snaps that Green-Ellis got should have an impact on equity as well, if nothing else, it's should stop a ton of Bengals fan from turning gray 10 years too soon.

I mean, over whom? I still think the top six are better, and as long as they have the better QBs, it's going to be hard for defensive performance to make that up. This is doubly true if A.J. Green has to miss any significant time, because that will severely hamper the Cincinnati offense.

ARI and SD are both top 10 squads. ARI win was impressive considering the circumstances. Backup QB, playing at 10am after MNF.
