Yeah I agree, incredibly ticky-tack in that crucial moment, especially when the refs weren't calling anything all game. I'd be pissed if I was a Bengals fan, that call could very well have decided the game.

He had a quiet 1H and the entire D line stepped up in 2H. Donald was clearly the best defensive player but Kupp delivered again when they needed him most.

If it's a case of clearly best defensive player vs. clearly best offensive player, they are going offensive player every time.

Here's the phantom holding call... You could tell even Kupp wasn't looking for a flag there. Absolute BS call.

False start on the Rams also

Rams fans have some defense with that missed facemask call against Ramsey, so the better team probably won. I guess.

You know, thinking about this further…you’re right. Kupp was by far the offensive player and was approximately equally as deserving as Donald

I thought it was a false start in real time also, waiting for a flag but play went on.

McVay is 55-26 regular season, 7-3 in the playoffs, made the playoffs 4 out of 5 years, made 2 Super Bowls in 5 years winning 1. Hall of Fame type stuff.

The reffs picked an awful time to get involved.
I looked back and must have been confusing it with a different one. 50% was definitely a high estimate, I'd probably revise it to the 10-20% range in the regular season and almost never in the postseason (and especially how the rest of this game was called).

In terms of this game though, I think it was clearly less of a bad call than the no-call on the facemask for the Higgins TD; with very similar impact on the game.

Pretty solid 69th pick in the draft for the Rams

Agreed, the missed facemask against Ramsay was LOL bad on multiple levels.

The play calling,

Mixon so needed more carries in this game.

So being on the IR while your backup cucks you counts as a super bowl appearance now?

Ring != appearance.

But I would be too embarrassed to wear that ring in public if I were Wentz.

Yeah, that deep throw 2nd and 2 was really dumb when you figure that if the WR breaks it for a TD, the Rams get the ball back with all 3 TOs and a chance to win in regulation. I could see a medium throw 15 yards or so to get in FG range. IF YOU LEAVE MIXON IN THE GAME.

Get in FG range, then get aggressive. Don't go for broke when you don't need to.
