He averages 11.7 yards per reception.

I really like and rate him, but he just isn't a top tier wideout. I would have him in the third tier with about 20 others...outside the top 15

I do definitely think Julio is substantially better than Thielen but I don't think there is much if anything between Diggs and Ridley and my guess is that Ridley will very quickly become better and more prolific than Diggs moving forward.
You should probably consider who has been throwing to Diggs in the last four years. Kirk is the best QB he's had, which isn't saying much. If Diggs had Matty ice for four years, it would be a completely different story.

With the mediocre QB play he's had to suffer through, those stats are actually quite good.

Wow. Say hi to Odell and AJ Green. Then apologise to Michael Thomas as you’re putting your Dunce hat on

Nah. They have an atrocious offensive line and outside of Landon Collins, their defense is pretty bad too.

Giants put the cart before the horse by picking Saquon over Sam Darnold. Saquon is an absolute monster of a running back but by the time a QB comes in, becomes completely comfortable with the system and begins to shine in it, Saquon will have had 2-3 seasons of wear and tear on him which shortens the window for playoff contention.

You halfway understood what I was saying.

People overstate the replaceability of RBs. Picking Barkley #2 over a QB is surely a mistake, but picking someone whose expected production is not much below Barkley's #31, when you don't need a QB or OL, is not.

Odell may be a better QB than he is a WR.

And that’s saying a lot.

So many good WRs in the NFL this season. Kind of hard to just pick 5.

But yeah Michael Thomas's 2018 has been otherworldly. He's the only starting WR with a catch rate above 85%. Next two starting WRs are Tyler Lockett with 79.7% and Danny Amendola with 74.3%.

Lockett has been pretty fantastic every time I watch and I know Wilson has like a perfect passer rating when targeting him (although the last time that happened was some receiver o had never heard of so idk how impressive that is)...Wilson is great of course but you wonder if Lockett could be a number one guy putting up big stats somewhere on a team with a quarterback who throws the ball a lot more. Some people were a bit surprised when the Seahawks paid him last offseason but looks like a nice choice

That sideline catch Lockett made the other night was unreal.

There must be something about how Russ delivers the ball, because Lockett makes that kind of catch all of the time. There have been several other examples this season.

And it's not just Lockett, the other guys do it too. Baldwin made a similar catch for a TD in the same game. And even Moore has done it at least once.

I'm sure there are a lot of drops in similar scenarios, but those are just much less memorable.

Russ has really nice touch on his passes it looks like. He likes to throw that super high arcing deep ball which has got to be much easier to catch too.

Collinsworth talked about this on the deep sideline ball to Lockett (?) the other night as they were showing the replay. With the defender trailing there is just no way he can get to the ball at all without climbing over the back of the receiver.

I feel like there's now way those can be repeatable with any consistency. But maybe I dunno.

Kirk Cousins sacks behind Was not dead yet bunch of pro bowl OL that people think deserved it 41
Kirk Cousins sacks behind Min's total trash it's all their fault OL 36

his sack % is actually lower this season

hmmmm

Kirk Cousins is 34-36-2 as a starter, never finished a season above 9-7 or below 7-9.

so he's the Jeff Fisher of quarterbacks

wat? The entire Washington offensive line was injured throughout last year. The previous two seasons they gave up 49 combined sacks. His record as a starter this year may have to do with scoring the same amount on offense but giving up an extra five points per game on average on defense with a few awful games thrown in. Just a thought

Thomas has almost as many targets as both of them combined. (Thomas: 140; Lockett: 69; Amendola: 74)

But having said the above, I'm a fan of / believer in Lockett. Not sure why they don't feature him more than five touches a game.

I'd only do this if you can make the NFL give you this schedule

4 road games
4 home games
Bye
4 road games
4 home games

Home field in that case could be a real advantage when AFC west teams have to travel there.

I think we were originally scheduled to do one of the overseas games, so if that was intended to be Mexico it'd cut down one of the across the pond trips
