Was the game last night totally skycam?

They were using it for quite a bit either last TNF or maybe it was on Monday. I didn't like it but maybe just needed to get some getting used to.

They alternated between skycam and regular side view.

But skycam was awesome - can really see how plays develop.

Skycam was great! They didn't use it on 3rd downs--wtf??? or in the red zone (ok) or a few other almost random spots. Overall, a gimmick--but a very good gimmick.

It will be interesting how they intend to present games now.

Skycam is so much better that it's gonna be hard to watch a broadcast without it. With the traditional sideline view, any time the QB throws anywhere beyond the flat, you have no idea if there is an open WR or if it's a terrible forced ball into coverage, and you have little idea if a pass is gonna be 10 yards or 35 until the camera pans to follow the football. As the ball travels through the air you're just thinking 'come on, be an open guy there, big money, no wammies no wammies...'. Aint no kind of way to watch a game when we now can now actually see WRs running routes.

And the running game! Most plays (anything inside) you currently cant tell if there is a hole or just a wall of bodies that the RB is heading into. Now you can see exactly how the blocking develops before the RB is even past the QB.

It should be rolled out widescale but I doubt that happens. Too many olds and clowns that fear change. Maybe in five years we'll get there.

Is there proof in the Jameis situation? Not that it matters. Six game suspension if Jameis didn't pay her off.

And so many of y'all called me crazy when I told you the Bountygate and Deflategate suspensions were bull**** based on phony evidence to reach a pre-determined conclusion.

Skycam seems loved by football junkies/madden players and really disliked by casuals. Too much going on for them it seems, they just want to watch the ball.

considering we've had skycam since the XFL and it never took hold with majority of fans; I don't think it's going to now.
