Thanks. I remember it blowing out, but didn't recall it was in practice.

Watson's also being reported as the dreaded non-contact injury.

The Josh Allen types might be bad at throwing the football but they won't tear their ACL trying to make a defender miss in the open field

Texans say they are open to Kaep!

Howard Balzer reports Texans owner Bob McNair has "signed off" on working out Colin Kaepernick following Deshaun Waton's season-ending knee injury.

Bob was head coach at PSU while Mcgloin was there.

Probably not on a team whose left tackle just forced a trade in part due to the owner's racism

I'm gonna be really bummed if Watson's career goes the RGIII way (and possibly worse) and somehow NFL GM's vindicated.

The ****ing NFL man.

Well I don't think Bill O'Brien is gonna hang him out to dry by leaving him in to play on an obviously torn ACL

RG3 also far too often ran without regard for his own safety, I don't see that in Watson

So he's having surgery. Can he even make week 1 now next year?

I think he'll recover from that most likely long term?

Seems to depends. AP tore his like week 16 and was back week 1. Other have been a full year. Some more.

should, but there's significant variance as rawls noted. AP had the cleanest acl tear ever.

regarding Q2, it's a lot better these days but that's still not a certainty.

We all agree that Watson's ACL was sacrificed to some shaman who in turn gave them a World Series, right?

I see no other explanation.

I think this is Watson's third ACL tear (I don't know if it's 2/1 or 3/0).

I heard it's on the other knee this time. So it was 2/0 I guess and now it's 2/1? I don't know if that's better or worse.

Probably better. I think Thomas Davis is the only guy to ever play in the NFL after tearing the same knee three times.

Sucks that RG3 or Teddy might end up being the best comparison for Watson.
