Onto other topics: "Slot receiver" is a nebulous thing. Landry is overrated because he's so slow that his YPC is in running back territory. (I'm not even kidding. Todd Gurley averaged 12.3 yards per catch this season. Alvin Kamara averaged 9.9. Duke Johnson averaged 9.1. Jarvis Landry is at 8.7.) He could probably be a positive player in a smaller role, but if your offense is funneled through him, it's not going to be a very effective offense.
He is super slow and doesn't have that good of hands. He also catches a lot of balls on third down short of the marker, which doesn't help. He is shut down when any halfway decent corner plays man.
The Dolphins are 16-3 when Landry has 6 targets or less and 15-29 when he has 7 or more. Seems to be that if you were a good player, the more you were used, the better the team would do.
