This (super TLDR) article actually talks about a future in which we would see "athletes" wearing something that connects directly into their brain and controls a mechanical body from the sidelines for violent sports like football. The robots could potentially even be built to the exact athletic specifications of the humans so as to not really shake up the type of athletes who are skilled enough to play at the highest level.
It's way easier to fire up a game of Madden.

Wentz injury sucks, but man is the NFC wide open now. I think they still get the #1, and their odds of going to the SB probably are still decent bc of this. And bc Foles is a quality backup. but MIN, NO, and LAR are all so close behind (and together). not sure I remember a field like this. sometimes the #1 seed is considered a bit lucky and not an overwhelming favorite, but usually not like this

odds certainly increased of the Vikings playing a home SB.

So, looks like I have to pray that the Steelers can win a shootout this week. The Pats are going to put up 50 on this bunch. Sigh.

Definitely feel for Wentz and the eagles fans but it was pretty sick to come out of the vikes first losing sunday in 2 months or whatever with more SB equity than we started with. As long as they don't **** up the 2 seed I really like their chances. Absolutely do not want to play @NO.

Hopefully Haden will be back and 100% for the playoffs. All the problems in the secondary started when he got hurt. The game is more or less must win if Pit wants to make the SB, as I don't like their chances on the road against any playoff team.

Packers are gonna win the NFC aren't they

Rodgers comes back Week 17, beats the Lions AGAIN to sneak in with the 6 seed, they beat Minnesota @ Minnesota then cruise to an easy win @ Philly, and Rodgers godmodes them in a shootout over New Orleans.

Goddammit.

This has been a nagging fear that has come so so close to having a nail put it it's coffin multiple times (incl 2 OTs!) but it just wont die. There's actually a good chance GB doesn't get in even if they win out though.

It is pretty funny that some people are dooming the eagles without Wentz when the Vikings are running out keenum (who has been fine)

The best timeline is that Romo wins a SB with the Eagles

Am I crazy to think signing Kaep isn't that bad?

Foles has ZERO upside. I'm sorry, but it's true. I've watched Foles since he was originally with Philly and I'm not pleased. Will he be better then Keenum? HAHAHAHA.

This team resorts to 80% RPO's and Screens and quick slants. We attacked down field, but to be honest, Wentz wasn't that accurate down field anyways.

Kaep has experience with Torrey Smith, he can run RPO's (possibly better then Wentz) and he's accurate enough for slants/screens that Doug runs anyways.

Eagles still win out I think. Foles should do fairly well for a backup QB and the Ajayi trade will be huge now.

Seahawks losing to Rams next week would be massive for GBs chances to get in at 10-6. GB will also be cheering hard for CAR>ATL and NO>ATL.

In the Foles should be ok down the stretch camp but wouldnt be surprised if Romo's camp got a call from the Eagles to kick the tires so to speak.

you weren't pleased with his season of 27 TDs to 2 INT?

foles has been alright in every sample we've seen except the terrible season with the rams. his resume compares pretty similarly to keenum. given goff and keenum now i'm pretty sure we can just conclude that jeff fisher is actually the woat when it comes to getting qb production and ignore that year

The emergence of the Rams as a young, strong, and very well balanced team has been one of the most pleasantly surprising aspects of this season. It's too bad their home crowd is terrible. The "stadium" was louder when the Eagles were doing well.

i think foles is probably an above avg backup and you guys suggesting that romo or kaep would be better coming off the street are pretty nuts.

don't think foles gives them much SB equity tho. Would be a dog in all 3 playoff games most likely even if they win out and keep HFA.

He already makes Brady do all the right things, so he just needs to flip "F" to "R"
