Hes got a 56%cp 9tds 12int with a 70.8qbr in the playoffs. He lost to quality teams sure. Still think hes a beast anyways. He won me 10k on fanduel on his playoff week where he blew up vs kc for 4tds 3picks and a bunch of yard so he did come through that week in the playoffs haha.

I think there's a clear case for a #3:

Spoiler:
3. Tebow

Due to Romo's age and how it may start to impact his play-style effectiveness, Brady's age and lack of mobility, uncertainty about Rustle and the workload he has to shoulder/offense he's in I got

3. Ben

I could be talked into Rustle but I don't think it's likely it'll be down to those 2

I also think Brees is on the downside of things and is the opposite from Ben in terms of height starting to play a role as he ages

Rape at #3. I think Romo is an easy #4 and then things get wide open at #5.

Romo #3

(dunno how to treat Brady with the suspension btw.)

3 is tough

Brady, Peyton, Romo, Ben

I think we should ignore the Brady suspension, just trying to rank who is the best QB.

Peyton, I know he sort of fell off at the end of the season but wasn't there an injury involved? He was crushing most of the year.

Romo has always been great, seemed to increase his stats. Do you think that's a product of Murray/OLine allowing the passing game to excel?

Ben, not really sure how to rate him. Dude is a gamer, puts up good stats, wins games. He did have more weapons than normal last season.

Peyton is pretty much just a system QB at this point isn't he?

Granted it's his system but that arm

He reminds me of a less mobile but smarter Rich Gannon at this point

Luck's playoff performance (against... wait for it...playoff quality teams) is apparently so bad and such a large sample size that it's already time to paint him as a playoff underperformer?

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL no.

Nah, DI is basically right. Peyton's arm is ****ty anymore so his success depends on a high-quality system (albeit his own) running smoothly.

Compare this to guys like Godgers or Wilson or even Rape, who, when a play breaks down, can scramble and buy time and find someone (sometimes even a deep guy).

lol @ Peyton being able to do that.

Oh for sure on intelligence, just that the system masks his liabilities and can still put up numbers but reaches a point where they can't be overcome each season

Whether it's weather or competition or whatever

Manning has always had a bad arm. The dude reads and breaks down defenses better than anyone. Plus he's always had elite receivers, so that doesn't hurt.

3. Brady

Among Brady, Payton, Roeth, and Romo, I think Brady has had the fewest games in the last couple of years where I've watched a game and I think he looks like complete trash. Brady has some too, but there is a lot more lolPayton and lolRomo. Roeth is pretty close, but Brady is used to playing with scrubs, so I'll give him the nod.

Plays breaking down could be a byproduct of the QB not getting them in the right calls. Peyton still puts up great stats despite not being physically able - a testament to his mental capabilities.

Plus I guarantee you him and Kubitard are going to clash heads at basically every opportunity this season. Wouldn't be surprised if Peyton just retires mid-season at 6-2 to get away from Garrold Kubiak.

You didn't include Luck in there - I'm sure unintentionally and if I was confident Romo at 35 would still be able to do it he's right there too; you're getting at why my top 5 guys are who they are

Brady has considerably more zip and has always had more wiggle in the pocket than Peyton even though he's lead footed too.

How is Rivers with that throwing form once he has to move around? It's a legit question, not rhetorical.

Petyon reminds me of a fighter who when he's working his jab it's great but when you crowd him he doesn't like it. Brawl a boxer and box a brawler. Eli is the brawler of the family.
