Brock was in the 20/30 range but this is a really bad plan by the Broncos doesn't exactly compute fwiw

IE Peyton is the high variance play but I think it brings them more SB equity
Brock already beat the Bungles and the Pats. He isn't good but odds are we get a LOL awful Peyton. I'm a Peyton fan too but from what I've seen this year he ****ing sucks.

20/30 >>>>>>>> 40/40

With their D and running game they don't need a top flight QB to win a game or two. They would need one to beat Seattle, AZ or Carolina though. Peyton isn't magically going to become his old self (which wasn't good in the playoffs or in the cold anyways).

yes, and he actually almost beat Pittsburgh too

I agree Peyton has been bad. maybe they are hoping that with the rest he can come out firing. or that they really liked was he showed in his 9 passes last week.

but...it's not like he started this year strong and melted down. his first game was pretty bad and his best game was in the middle of the season.

So apparently it's going to about 0° for Sea@Minn

Minn should stop being pansy asses and go back to having an outdoor stadium.

this horrible weather really helps Minn. you're a dog, you want a monsoon, tidal wave, freezing balls, anything like that would help you

Peyton has been dragged to a rang by his defense before. Brock hasn't. Kubiak is wisely playing the percentages here.

Pretty sure Peyton gives them a lot more simple win equity than Brock.

these

it was a no brainer to go with Peyton. we weren't winning **** with Brock. our floor is lower but our SB equity increases.

I wonder how short of a leash Peyton will have. It's probably something against the rules, but it would have been sweet to have them not announce anyone and hold closed practices.

Is SEA more than six points better than GB? They'd have to be for tanking to be the optimal play, but even that doesn't factor in the potential (if small) equity of hosting the 4 or 5 seed in the championship game.

They currently play outdoors. They'll be going back indoors next year.

Which side would you rather have? Winning side has Super Bowl winner.

Pick 2 teams (must be one from each conference) or the field

def field. even if you could pick any two teams its clear field

Field

NBA is only playoffs that the Field would be a dog, and in many years the Field is a dog if you can choose one team.

Field. No single team is higher than 20% ish. Carolina + Arizona gets you closest to a flip but I'd still take field over them.

This year it is field but there are some years that you would take 1 from each conf.

Last year with Seattle/NE comes to mind.

Yup and the year before with sea/den

Field this year is the clear choice though.

What do you mean "should"? Isn't that what that Al-Jazeera story is about?
