The Pats play in the weakest division in football. Since realignment at the end of the 2001 season. Only 4 times has a team come out of the AFC Yeast infection and qualified for the wildcard. All four times it has been the Jets. This means the Pats count on being 6-0, 5-1 or 4-2 at worst in their division. All they have to do is go 6-4 outside their division to have solid playoff seeding with at least 1 home playoff game.
