Jimmy Graham to the Pack......obviously Godgers is great but they haven't featured TEs all that much lately even with solid ones like Bennett last season.

I like Case in the right system, I hate Case in a lot of systems. I doubt he's as bad as he was for the Rams (LOL Fisher) but I doubt he's as good as he was last year.
I think Vance Joseph being an idiot had a lot to do with it.

Taylor Gabriel to Bears, 4 year deal.
Jimmy Graham to Packers (as discussed), 3 year deal.
Aaron Colvin to Texans, 4 year deal.
Bashaud Breland to Panthers.
Chris Smith to Browns, 3 year deal.

Packers releasing Jordy Nelson, save $10.2m.

yeah it started off really promising with great smith trade but the peters trade was objectively horrible and this watkins signing looks incredibly risky and unlikely to work out. buttttt the offense could be historically fun to watch with mahomes/kelce/hunt/hill/watkins. if you want some reason for optimism a guy at arrowhead pride did a film review of watkins link and came away really impressed. sure its probably a homer blowing smoke but whatever hope is fun

i would have legitimate super bowl aspirations if we still had peters but whatever it should be a fun season to watch at least. i'm all in on mahomes. if he is like a ****ty version of cutler that would be heartbreaking but for now i'll hold out hope that we have a franchise qb for first time in my lifetime. we did beat both super bowl teams last year they could still be a pretty damn good team. usually i'm pessimistic going into the season but not this year

*shrug*

yeah if you could squint and see a superbowl team with smith then i don't think its that unreasonable to have hope with a qb with a higher ceiling even if his median outcome is worse

i think 25-1 was the same odds as before last year. division is wide open with four really similarly talented teams anything can happen in playoffs etc.

Jordy is doner than done

Good on the pack for realizing this and not catching feels, rostering for too long

They should’ve gotten Arob. Dunno their cap situation tho

Ravens and Jags in a battle to see who could add most mediocre WR to a single roster

Yeah, Ravens thought they were getting Donte Moncrief. When he decided to go to the Jags, they set their sites on Brown...

In other unexciting news:
* Cards officially cut AP
* Texans sign OT Seantrel Henderson
* Bills sign S Rafael Bush to a 2 year deal
* Browns sign OT Donald Stephenson for 1/$2.5m

Barnwell is such a salty, balding, fat loser. Even saltier now that Seattle is destined for 7-9 seasons until Russ breaks down.

You expected better than a C+ for giving Bradford $20m/year?

More crap:

* Cardinals still looking into Glennon + McCarron despite Bradford signing.
* Raiders sign TE Derek Carrier, 3 year deal.
* Giants expected to sign JStew.
* Rams re-sign CB Nickell Robey-Coleman to like 3/$16m.
* Steelers restructuring OT Villanueva to save $4m in cap room.

& in more interesting news, Titans signing CB Malcolm Butler.

Why is Jordy done??

Malcolm Butler gets a 5 year/$61M deal with the Titans.

It’s not a straight 20 per for starters. It’s 15 “guaranteed”; no one knows what injury protections are in it yet, so for his fatass to gloat when he doesn’t know the score is telling. Even with the facts we have now he’s wrong. Bradford is getting 25% less money then he’s saying; fat **** can’t even read. Second year is TO, so, again, much different than how he’s spinning it.

He’s also apparently unaware that Mathieu is getting restructured as we speak. The line is still much better as currently assembled than the line Bradford played w/in 2016 when his QB rating and W-L were ~Brees’, who is also 9 years older.

There’s no need to extend MG or DJ now (in fact it would be incredibly dumb, which is prob why Barnwell thought of it!).
