I guess i really didn’t believe the rumors of chiefs shopping him at all because it made no sense and if you really had some horrible issues between peters and coaching staff internally that should be something you can keep quiet . I can only assume they thought no chance he would re sign and decided to get what they could. Interesting that both colts and browns with former chiefs front office guys weren’t in on him at all I guess he must be a real pain in the ass but damn he is elite
