IMO, it’s possible both that teams are racists and that Kaep isn’t a very good back up QB option but when Reid goes unsigned and apparently without offers, then there is some closed shop **** happening
If you don’t believe the owners would do that, ask Kevin Mawae
Yeah, Mawae definitely got blackballed for his role in the NFLPA. The NFL is run by a cartel of scumbags, we should just nationalize it. They're sucking up all our tax money for their stadiums anyway.

"Because of the protests" is poor wording; thought it was clear I meant that people are blaming the protests themselves for the declining ratings, when the NFL's ham-fisted / collusive / racist approach to them is just as much to blame.
Of course, I don't think those are the only causes of declining ratings-- it's also a broader variety of viewing options, and the decline in quality of play brought on by several factors-- oversaturation, bad Thursday night games, too many frustrating and confusing rules, ROG suspending star players for huge chunks of the season because he feels like it, etc.

Right, like, the NFL didn't even have players come to the field for the national anthem until 2009, because the military paid them to
And yet it's the "I love my free speech and the constitution, everyone else is an easily triggered sensitive snowflake" crowd who fills their diapers if players don't participate in the 90-second Loyalty Oath with proper reverence
