How did the Giants not jump on this? They still have the space.

As bad as Seattle's OL was. Wilson also is god awful for an OL to protect. His mobility is 100% a net negative when it comes to pass protection. Mobile QBs always have higher sack%'s.

With that said. Okung is also very average but there just are no good OTs in football anymore. Outside of Tyron Smith(who if he were in the late 90's early 2000's would be a fringe pro bowl player) the LT position is maybe the worst it has been since Russ Grimm got Theismann's leg destroyed.

it's only a 600k cut (post cut designation) for clady. When a guy comes off missing a whole year and has 10M/yr on his deal every NFL team wants to get the hell out of it unless it's a franchise QB.

Broncos have little trade leverage here with clady because they have no cap until they make a move with him and now there's a tackle option out there instead of trading stuff for joe thomas (which I don't see any team doing at this point, who would deal a 2nd for him right now?)

Seattle OL gets paid, don't know why either.

Okung could've passed on a little more money for a chance to win a rang too. There will be few OT's getting over 10M/year so that team option isn't so bad if it gets exercised.

DE's get paid 2x OT's and OT's have stress (DE gets a sack a game he's a stud, OT blows a sack a game and the entire fanbase wants you run out of town), which side you gonna pick if given a choice?

Saints barely had enough cap room to sign their draft picks BEFORE this. They just keep doing the same thing over and over again.

edit--it's just 3/something a lot less than that big #/yr

That was his old contract otherwise that would be the worst deal yet.

Is there anyone in Cleveland who can confirm this?

This kind of thing annoys me. BB stood in front of the competition committee and eloquently expounded on why this is a good idea. And it got rejected. Last time I checked it was literally his idea. Rex comes out now with this piggybacking thought?

Also, the Ravens owner wants pinnies to identify eligible receievers. lol Ravens. BB barely has to do anything in the offseason to show that he controls heads and tilts the league.

Not just a guard but a hall of fame guard. That doesn't change the fact that he played LT and got Joe's leg snapped in half.

Okung negotiates exactly $0 in guaranteed money from the Broncos. he's trying to singlehandedly salvage the offseason for Elway.

Am I mistaken in believing Okung is really good?

From what I've seen of him/read about him, he's roughly an average LT when healthy, which he often isn't. Average LT is a good asset though if he can stay healthy.

in sad news
apparently ravens CB tray walker is fighting for his life (dirt bike crash with no helmet) and was apparently joyriding with a yet not known NFL player.

Clady > Okung.

Problem is, neither one can stay healthy.

Lol Okung for going agentless. Trying to save money actually cost him money. Lol again.

Rapoport/Schefter among others reporting via Twitter that he passed away. RIP

If Okung works out he gets $1m, if he's on the week 1 roster he gets $2m & he gets 1/16th of $2m for each game he's on the roster. Then they can cut him after the year with no consequences.

So yeah, basically.

lol Okung not having an agent. Didn't want to pay out a 3% commission on his salary I guess.
