He is a solid WR but I think a lot of his success has to do with being on the Saints and some of those shootouts they get into. Is due a big contract soon as well.
Would've guessed he would net a 2nd.
Yeah, it looks like they'll probably get 18, or move up from 11 to 5 & get some more stuff.

He's Australian. He makes weird jokes.

Either that, or Bruce Allen is mad that McCloughan is getting credit for things and has been working to push him out. What a ****ed-up organization.
Always possible.

Polian is a god damn idiot who doesn't think TO or Moss should be in the Hall of Fame. Because of character, says the guy who drafted Marvin Harrison and Rae Carruth, and who thinks Chad Kelly is the best QB in this draft. And he ruined Indy through nepotism.
lol Polian

This class is quite good at QB, better than last year's. (There are no slam-dunk Luck or even Winston types, but Watson is close to Winston and I think Mahomes and Kizer are also better than anyone in last year's class-- Dak might be an exception, but nobody knew Dak was this good so it hardly counts from a prospecting standpoint.) Darnold and Rosen are reasons to be optimistic about 2018 but UCLA's lack of winning with Rosen (especially compared to fifth-round "one read running QB" Brett Hundley) worries me.
Dak fell a bunch due to DUI as well.
From 3/24/16 (rest of the post is about the RG3 signing):

There's really not any downside for the Browns. If they're sold on one of the QBs, they still draft them 2, & if they aren't, they aren't locked into having to reach for one @ 2. Could either trade down our draft someone else & maybe go QB later.
Now that Dak is a drunk driver, maybe grab him in the 4th.
This also doesn't mess with their compensatory picks since he was released (looks like they're still on track for 4, 4, 4, 5).
Instead they drafted:
3rd Round (#93): QB Cody Kessler.
4th Round (#99): LB Joe Schobert.
4th Round (#114): WR Ricardo Louis.
4th Round (#129): S Derrick Kindred.
& Dak went #135.
I wonder how Dak would have looked on the Browns?
