So true. It sounds like a ton of people, including me, had Brees pegged as a sleeper who would fall to the 4th round. I pegged players like Randall McDaniel, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Jackie Slater and Aeneas Williams as sleepers. All of them ended up going in the 2nd round.

Hmmmm...there's an RB I really like now...but I don't really want to take an RB.

I'm tempted to trade up sometime this round, as there's a guy I want, but I honestly have no idea where he'll go. I might get him without moving; he might go next. I feel like we're hitting the stretch where the BPAs at each position are still fairly clear, but the importance of various ones is less defined.

I'm tempted to trade up to end the absolute madness of undrafted qb getting passed over time and time again.

I can't think of any RB who deserves to go anytime soon.

TO is a brilliant pick in this format, imo better than Carter.

also, yeah, i was a bit "who?" re: webb, i hope this thread educates me about pre-2000 NFL nicely

oh no, i think in this format there's been enough backs with disgusting seasons that really ought to be picked in this round. sure, we're not getting the particular season, just the talent level or whatever, but even considering that there's one that should go real soon

yea this is the round I expect a lot of RB's to go and rightfully so, there are some guys with insane values at RB right now

Good one. I think Lloyd and I put Kiper into cardiac arrest.

BTW, I really like Smith/Seau. That's a couple pieces away from being damn near unstoppable.

I can think of four off the top of my head that I would expect to see go relatively soon. Not sure of the order, I guess it depends how much you weight durability, consistency, and overall peak.

in particular, i think one is like boselli, except more truncated, in that if his career spanned out how it ought to have done he'd have been a round 1 pick

Hmm, none of my guys come close to fitting that description, guess that just shows how many great running backs are still available.

TO is a top 3 WR imo in this format

1 Rice
2 Moss
3 TO
======
4 Sharpe
5 Harrison
6 Carter
7
======
There's about 1 more guy on the Sharpe, Harrison & Carter tier I think. Then there's about 8 guys in tier 4.

I'm with you on the order you have everyone ranked. I might have Rice + Moss alone in tier 1, but its too close to argue much over.

Does battschr know he's up? He popped in about an hour ago and said he wanted TO, but didn't make his pick.

I must have different targets because none of the players I was talking about has gone for a while.

There's only one guy I can think of that can come close to matching TO's physicality and he's my elite 14th round face melter

No, he picked. But he hasn't done a write-up or posted in the thread, which might be confusing him.

Seriously guys, just put your pick in the actual draft picks thread and have a mod edit your writeup in later. There's a reason we have the picks thread.

Durr, I even commented on the pick. Yeah, it's easy to miss without some kind of eye-catching post.
