KC Chiefs select

Riley Cooper - WR - Florida

Need someone who isnt going to tell Tebow to shut the **** up. KC could also some use some more offense and Cooper is a decent WR. According to Mayock "He has great size (6-3 3/8, 222) and is an extremely athletic kid that tracks the football and makes the hard catch look easy. One of the best blocking wide receivers in the draft also has a history on special teams as a jammer and gunner. Has to eliminate the "easy" drop."

it seems likely that there will be some moves that will change things around slightly. i wouldnt mind doing it over again thanks to the slight tweaks in need.

also, the compensatory picks have been announced

what we really ought to do is a live mock draft a day or two beforehand. pick some day/time we can get everyone who wants in together and actually have time limits and be online making live war room deals over PM and AIM and stuff. maybe a two day thing like saturday-sunday.

yeah, i'm definitely going to plan an AIM thing. I'll work it all out, and might even just PM everyone who I think is worth having in it. Expect it a week or two before the draft I think.

I'm going to take Greg Hardy, OLB/DE.

Current Picks:

2. Eric Berry, S
17. Mike Iupati, OG
79. Jason Fox, OT
141. Greg Hardy, OLB/DE

Huge risky pick. A year ago he was projected as a sure fire top 15 pick. Injuries have really set him back. 9ers had a top 5 pass rush last year (sacks), but could always use more pure pass rushing. Still have needs at OL, CB but I didn't find anyone I really liked at those positions that were available. Obviously this pick could fail, but it's a 5th round pick. High risk, high reward IMO. I'm also going to need him to lose a little weight...he's up to 285.
