Conveniently enough, the 1999 offseason was both when the Eagles hired Andy Reid as head coach (and de facto guy in charge of things), and when Daniel Snyder purchased the Redskins (and became guy in charge of things), and thus is a great jumping-off point for this exercise.

Since then, the Redskins' cumulative record is 80-96, with three playoff appearances, one division title (in the first year, when Snyder had yet to make his mark on the team), two wild-card round playoff wins, no wins in the divisional round or later, and zero seasons of 11 wins or more. The team is currently on its seventh head coach in this time.

Meanwhile, the Eagles' cumulative record in the same period is 108-67-1, with eight playoff appearances, ten playoff wins, five conference championship game appearances (four straight from 2001-2004), one super bowl appearance, and six seasons of 11 wins are more. The team has kept the same head coach throughout this time.

If you throw 1999 out, which we should since we're talking about the last decade, the Redskins' record drops to 70-90, with two playoff appearances, one win, and no division titles. The Eagles' record improves to 103-56-1, with all playoff appearances intact.
