This issue is about more than money, I never would have signed that contract if I knew that this was going to happen........yet now I know what happened and I am reaffirming the contract anyway...... but I am not actually going to perform my duties under the contract. Huh?

No matter how you want to frame it, switching to a 3-4 comes nowhere near a breach of contract that might, just might, justify this stance.

And if he is going to blame anyone it should be himself. If he didn't suck last year, then the Redskins might be able to get close to fair value for the huge bonus that he just collected under the contract he supposedly hates.

He didn't suck last year. He came off the field far too often but he was excellent when he was in the game.

Well Haynesworth is a piece of **** on a lot of levels so he has lost a lot of the "benefit of the doubt" stuff.

A regular organization after paying someone 21 million would probably do what they could to either have him play or get some value for him. But for the Redskins, they probably cut him.
