Just for fun I stopped on a random simulation of the CFP. and then added in the next four snubs.

9-3 Stanford is still a snub? I guess your simulation didn't have any other 2-3 loss SECw teams than Bama? Perhaps not since it's stronger than usual so auburn and LSU and TAMU could all lose a bunch of games

Most years 2-loss ND and 3-loss Stanford aren't "snubs"...this simulated random result would not push anyone to consider an 8-team playoff

Everything is serious on the Internet.

(longer answer, no, there weren't. And snubs is just teams 5-8, I don't mean to imply some righteous claim to the CFP)

Since bama ends up playing 12 games that means they didn't win the west. Whom did UGA beat in the SECCG?

One more for funsies. This wasn't quite random, I kept hitting F9 until I got no Oregon, no FSU, no Bama. It took a while.

Who said they won the SECCG?

But, I'll guess they most likely beat 10-2 Auburn in one of those tragic rematches, avenging their earlier defeat. Probably slightly more entertaining than the Bama-LSU games from 2011.

That way UGA can just beat everyone else in the East, and only need SCar and Tennessee to lose another conference game each (tee-hee on the Tennessee part!).

Poor Georgia fans. They finally get their title and it's in the form of a random simulation.

In order of teams that deserve to be screwed I think I'd go:

1 Wisconsin
2 Baylor
3 Mississippi State
4 OU

I feel like all of these teams reek of trying to game the system. Baylor has absolutely no excuse for not challenging themselves in the nonconference and OU isn't much better with the UT home game since they already have every projected tough opponent at home (Bay, KSU, OSU). Wisconsin's schedule is just pathetic overall and Miss State should be ashamed of not scheduling anyone when they draw Vandy and Kentucky.

Wisconsin did at least schedule LSU OOC. Sucks for them that they lost it.

It's super expensive (like $1200 I think) but I have it for work. It's just nice that I can use it for this stuff too

It's not like Wisconsin chooses their crossover games. They have a weak sched in a week conference, so they went and played LSU. Could they have done more? Yeah, they could've gone and played a second decent P5 team instead of USF, but it's not like they scheduled a bunch of high school teams like Mississippi State, A&M and Baylor did.

haven't people been saying that teams who want title shots need to join a power conference for years? We've been keeping teams from **** conferences out of BCS title games and before that the most important bowls and the playoff system isn't set on changing that afaik. Why should the B1G be treated differently when the fact of the matter is that the teams in that conference blow? Conference name recognition shouldn't matter one bit.

Yep poor me. If only I was about 40% stupider and not gone to UGA, perhaps I would've been like the other turds from my HS that went to auburn. Then I would feel so much better about myself, because my team has won one more championship than zero. Course I probably wouldn't have six figures in retirement before I hit 30 either. Sigh.

Do you ****ing search me everyday or something? You rarely post in these rankings threads, I make a JOKE about academic vs football, and there's you trolling me like you have for years. Or maybe you made some awesome program that alerts you when a UGA "fan" makes a post like I did. GT "fans" literally measure their self-worth against UGA fans. You're pathetic.

I think it's really the elitism that Sly has been showing for years that annoys me so much. Like he's a better person or something because he roots for Auburn. I love football and all but I don't think just because of whom I root for makes me any better or worse than someone else.
