When the Final Four is there, they don't have that weird curtain. They fill up the whole thing, and it works a lot better.

Final 4 games sell out the entire stadium. Not really sure what the issue is with sweet 16 though.

Only losing Turner and Dez Lee, Pack should be solid next year in a strong ACC.
Friend of mine is a huge State fan. He loves Gottfried, but I don't understand why. Wolfpack obv talented but seem to have 10-13 losses in the regular season every single year, with some being super underwhelming. Seems to underachieve IMO, 2012-2013 being especially underwhelming, all subsided by the occasional elite win. (Duke and Villanova this year.) Nice run this year though!

Not sure how all State fans feel, he seems to love the guy though. I just don't understand why. Thoughts?

Edit: Playing in the ACC doesn't help though, conference is so ****ing loaded. Loss total could add up that way...

Also, the refs would do a better job if they just call the initial foul instead of the ridiculous make up call that's horrible

utah is going to have to keep this from getting out of hand without delon, which may not be possible

I read a couple years back that they started doing this as dry runs for future Final Fours. Everyone hated, so they've decided not to do it anymore. The only reason it's happening this year is to fulfill contracts that were signed a few years ago.

This is from memory. Could have a couple details wrong.

Wright averages 1.3 PF per game, they look lost without him, might be worth gambling

Good god just put Delon back in the game. The game will be well out of hand by the time you get him in the 2nd half if you don't

I know. Neither semifinal game that year was particularly atrocious, though.

I don't love Gottfried. I appreciate his strengths and he's done pretty well so far here, but State fans overall run hot and cold on him. He traditionally sucks worse than average on the road and his teams tend to play down to their competition when favored. Offenses produce, defenses struggle is the simple book on Gott but he's also a players coach. I'm happy with what he's done so far in his tenure and thought he turned the team around nicely mid season. We beat Duke, UNC and made the Sweet 16 this year. No fan should scoff at that but at the end of the day every Pack fan simply wants something they haven't had in a while, a championship. ACC will do.

As for that 12-13 team they had a ton of chemistry/ego issues. The talent was there, the teamwork was not. Unfortunate set of circumstances that Gott held together best he could.

Dook. Refs.

When K yells at refs do they laugh about it backstage later like pro wrestlers? I don't know how he does it with a straight face.
