Walkup has played like 5 good games all year, unfortunately this is about on par with his performance, couple bricks, turnovers, etc...

yessir, I'll take it

people harp on our 3pt shooting but we do have a couple good shooters, fortunately we've been able to locate them and they've knocked em down. I cannot wait for Khris to put on a little size, he has a lot of skills for a fish.

early second round probably but could definitely be someone who falls later, but this is very dependent on what he can do in the tournament imo. vasquez has some things going against him physically but if he can take over some games on national tv in the tournament i think it could really help his status and maybe even garner a later round selection by a good team who wants some immediate scoring (Vasquez is pretty near fully developed as a player)

I don't think anyone knows how to use him in the NBA. I'm not sure he can keep up or move around NBA PGs, but he's an excellent passer that has to have the ball in his hands. He's not a great shooter but he's good. I think if he works on his outside shooting (which has gotten a LOT better) and stays in great shape that he'll have a shot at being an nba player.

Right now it's probably odds against him making a team though, the jump in athleticism and physicality in the NBA is just a big concern for players like Vasquez

I'd expect D-League as his most likely result next year unless he really kills it in Summer League and impresses whatever coach takes him

From a scouting report

Quote:
Vasquez is a prospect at a crossroads. Despite the strides that he has made throughout his collegiate career, he must soon begin the transition to being a role player at the next level. His current style of play is not likely suited to a backup role, but his improved ability to knock down three point jump shots combined with his court vision, talent-level and overall production at the ACC level suggest that such a transition is possible. The game comes very naturally to him, and it’s possible that with better players around him he would not have to take as many risks with his shot-selection and decision making as he currently does. Improving his overall effort on the defensive end is a major key, however.
This is quite correct and we'll see. It's not easy to go from being the man who always has the ball in his hands to be asked to be a roleplayer in a severely limited role.

And I just don't know who he can guard in the NBA. Maybe Assani can say something on that, he's watched him more. (My guess is almost no one though)
