Not arguing it should not have counted in this game obviously.
I would think it would stand. His hand was under the ball, and it didn't wiggle like it had come loose in his grip. It looks like he had possession prior to the ball touching the ground, and at no point was possession ever lost.

Is anyone on here friends with Vernon Adams? Is he playing Saturday night? I'm asking for a friend.

Directv on planes is the nuts. Got to watch both games last night.

Stanford might be a juggernaut but man did UCLA run bad. Seemed like every penalty they had negated a 3rd down conversion. Rosen throws lasers like I haven't seen in a long time, he throws like 50 yard passes on a rope. They basically averaged like 10 yards per play for 3 quarters and only had 20 points or something.

That catch was bananas, and McCaffrey and the Stanford oline are ridiculous. Thought Hogan looked terrible and got bailed out on a bunch of bad throws.

UCLA/Cal should crack a hundred points probably. Stanford's playoff equity looks pretty high right now.

Utah's playoff equity is pretty low I think. Pac-12 probably gonna get left out this year

Vernon told me that not only is he playing tomorrow, but he has a "secret plan" to defeat ISIS.

Lol at anyone actually going to a game this weekend and missing all these amazing games.
I don't really like goal line any more than edited replays. Just keep your hand on the remote and eyes off the laptop, except SE maybe.

Yeah, I agree we should have gone for it to begin with.

You are suggesting that one of the up backs should motion over between the center and the punter and intercept the snap and run it? LOL that's absurd. They aren't wildcat QBs, they're blockers. Unless you have Johnny Football out there, who has the balls to do that kind of thing with the game on the line?

Or are you saying one of them should have run up and done a QB sneak? It's easy to see that it would work sitting at home, but if your job is to block for the punt, you're not going to be counting defenders and audibling to a QB sneak. Even if you did, the center would probably be like WTF ARE YOU DOING DUDE? and Malzahn would have called a TO as soon as he saw it developing anyway.

Stanford catch reminds me of this one from a few years ago, just without the cartwheel at the end. The most amazing part isn't them necessarily getting a hold of the ball through the defender but somehow managing to actually keep possession of it to the ground.

FPI had Boise something like 60% to run the table before tonight's game. Down 10-3

At least Owusu wasn't playing against the #3 team in a rival state.
