lol that ksu education is really showing I guess. here's a hint, butthurt doesn't mean what you think it means. if ksu has the option of winning the b1g next year or the big12 they snap accept the b1g. you know why? because it means they got into the big and became relevant. your school is so ****ty it's like the only option the big isn't considering or looking into.

Next year is the end of this Nebraska/Wisconsin mockery of the Big Ten title game.

Oh god, this is a terrible trolling effort. Big XII's absolutely fine and not one of those teams would take a Big Ten invite right now. They'll end up one of the super-conferences just like the B1G will. They might end up making a couple bucks less, but the on-field product should be better which should really be the only relevant consideration for fans when both leagues are in such good shape.

Baylor would rape everyone in the Big 10.

And I never went to Kansas State. Idiot.

Wow Nebraska. Rarely do I look at a score unable to tell if it's football or basketball at first glance and lol since it's hilarious either way.

Whats not to root for?

Winning the Big 12 is the 2nd greatest achievement in all of college sports.

They would take Oklahoma's spot if true. So it's not so bad.

I recall that youtube clip on BUG football with the two seals and coaches at turntable speed. They should play it 4x and show the seals sprinting 100 yards down the iceberg in honor of Saturday's blow out.

Was just looking over bowl tie-ins, and this is what I think we're gonna get for the good teams from the SEC:

BCS Championship: Alabama vs. Notre Dame
Sugar Bowl: Florida vs. Louisville
Capital One Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Michigan
Cotton Bowl: LSU vs. Oklahoma
Outback Bowl: Georgia vs. Nebraska
Chick-Fil-A Bowl: South Carolina vs. Clemson

Haven't paid too much attention to what's going to happen with the "access bowls" when the 4-team playoff comes, but I really hope they're going to find a way to get more than 2 SEC teams in. With the marked exception of the Cotton Bowl, these matchups are terrible. No one wants to see the SEC beat up on defenseless Big Ten teams or watch a Clemson/South Carolina rematch in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

This year glaringly shows the mixed blessing of having a conference championship game. If your CCG isn't a marquee matchup, it ends up being pretty lame--empty seats, $5 tickets, etc. In this case it's probably worse for the conference than just not having a CCG at all and letting the season last another week.

And having a marquee matchup every year is far from a given, as we've seen. You've got to have probably 3-4 top ten teams regularly in your conference to reliably have solid CCG matchups. Even then you aren't guaranteed these teams will actually face each other (one division upset can knock your top-ten team right out of the game).

The SEC seems like the only conference where just about every year you're guaranteed a matchup of some national importance. The Pac-12 is pretty good, but far less reliable than the SEC. The BigXII would be fine if they had enough teams. But the ACC and Big Ten almost seem to be hurting their brands by fielding these sorts of matchups. (I didn't watch either game, but I assume there were empty seats at each.)

If I were the Big Ten I would really try to pick up a quality school just to improve the caliber of play and brand of Big Ten football. Last night's game looked like it would have been an embarrassment, if I had bothered watching.

Agreed. It was extremely awkward to watch the Big Ten championship game. I could only watch minutes at a time before angrily pacing around the room.

Pretty sure the Big Ten would have been fine if Ohio State wasn't on probation. In fact, if the Buckeyes had been the team running up 70 on Nebraska, it probably would have been their springboard into the national championship.

Ohio State wins that 70-31 or whatever it was, I would definitely favor us to make it over Alabama, who was lucky as hell to win (against a much better team). And I've been saying Alabama would go over Ohio State.

I would have thought so too, and yet I must admit the sadistic side of me really enjoyed that second half, especially after so many people itt predicted a Nebraska comeback at halftime and declared the Neb 2nd half "Free Money", lol. Hilarious that I got +150 or whatever for Wisconsin 2nd half ML when it was 42-10 at halftime with a staff noted for never not running up the score when they have the chance.

I would expect Ohio State to need to hold them to less than 31, tbh.
