DB is in perfect position, locates the ball, and knocks it down. Yeah he interfered with the WR's opportunity to catch the ball. That's his job.

Two calls that need to be changed in NCAA Officiating:

1. Pass Interference. If a defender has superior position, and the QB makes a ****ty throw, the WR isn't allowed to draw PI by barreling through the defender just because the defender is between the WR and the ball's destination

2. "Receiver in the area" Today in the Wisconsin game, free blitzer came at Hornibrook. He's still in the pocket, he airmails it 10 yards out of bounds, and it goes over the head of a RB running out to the flat who still had his back to the ball when it was thrown. I'm fine with throwing it at a WR's feet, but there should have to be a reasonable attempt to put the ball in a spot where a catch could be made.
