FWIW Kevin Anderson, the MD AD, held the same position at Army until this past fall. He did amazing work here including hiring Rich Ellerson who just led Army to its first winning season since 1996. Just something to think about.

I'm starting to think Leach is just not going to get any kind of decent HC job. Maryland was pretty much the ideal scenario. Something like a dozen schools have passed on him already.

Probably have to go back to a lesser job and work his way up.

Outside looking in, if you're going to kick out an institution like Fridge, a guy like Leach seems like an odd hire. I'd think you want a degree of stability, and a guy like Edsall (who I know nothing about other than he went for a ballsy 4th down once) seems more appropriate than a defense hating Pirate.
