Wait. What?

Why wouldn't an LSU player just "lose" his helmet on every play here? 10 second run off unless UCF uses a TO. What am I missing about this?

It was LSUs timeout. UCF has the option to run 10 seconds if they want to. Then UCF took a timeout themselves on top of it.

Yeah, refs have been sloppy today. UCF hit the qb oob earlier to no flag and the taunting for throwing the ball down running off the field after a 3rd down sack was bad too.
