So as the Colorado St coach you see you can't/won't be allowed to stop Sanders and you don't go for 2 after you score a TD in the first OT?

The Rams losing like this is even better than if the BUFFS had blown them out. This was the Rams Superb Owl and I 100% guarantee they thought there was no way they were ever losing this game in the 4th quarter. I'm not shocked at all this was close and it should be mentioned that the Rams had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and plan all of their LOL cheap trash antics (and obv LOL Jay Norvell, just another arrogant garbage former Nevada-Reno coach).

A great WIM win for the BUFFS and I think digging down deep to pull this one out will help them in the long run. Hopefully this "under-performance" will also inflate the line vs. Oregon next week (I'm seeing Oregon -16.5, hoping this is several points higher by Monday morning).

Also - the Rams travel to Middle Tennessee St. next Saturday and I expect them to have nothing left in the tank. Will jump on MTSU up to -14.

Colorado is a fun team, but probably not that good. Fringe top 25 as I said a week ago. Now Hunter is out a couple weeks apparently, which is a massive blow. Sucks that one of the most exciting players ever is out b/c some dbag cheap shotted him.

In a similar vein, you might also take Louisville vs. BC. BC had their red bandana game this week and left it all out on the field only to come up short. Have a feeling they'll be super flat next week.

Wait LSU is +4000 to natty? That seems way off. They honestly could be the best team by season's end. They can also probably get in with another loss as long as they ship the SEC.

colorado points and the over, but oregon wins (not betting on it)
buffs have weapons to score and Lanning has been pulling starters in the 3Q to keep it close. looking for them to cover late.

Did you notice how they never showed how the star Colorado St lineman got injured for all three of his injuries? How the protected prince shoved his finger in his eye and no penalty was called? Anyone that thinks Colorado wasn't doing cheap trash antics needs to look at reality.

ah yes the guy who got in sander's face was the "victim" lol gtfo. it's the same fake tough guy act CSU was trying to pull off all night and I have no doubt it was their loser coach trying to make a name for himself cheering it on (he's now 3-11 at CSU btw).

there is always going to be some stuff going on between teams in rivalry games. but what CSU was doing all game was blatantly dirty and intending to injure. all CU was doing was reacting to the CSU garbage. how many games are CSU players going to miss due to cheap shots?

To me, Colorado is a below average football team with a generational QB and a two way superstar. Shedeur and Hunter mask how bad the rest of the team is.

I don't agree they are below average. More like a top 50 team (which is above average for FBS). I do agree they are over ranked in the official polls. They have great skill position players and I think they are coached quite well. But I fear they are below average in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Which will be a problem when they face legit top 20 teams.

A below average football team with a generational QB and a two-way superstar (and one or two other elite skill players) is not a title contender, but it's usually a pretty good team in the ~20-30 zone, which is where CU probably is. And since they've run hot and gone 2-0 in close games, they're ranked higher for now.

Let's not move the goalposts though, the fact that Colorado is the ~25th best team in the country is INSANE. Even if they finish 6-6, that's an incredible accomplishment, and I cannot fathom the number of players that will be looking to transfer in next year

I agree with everything you said. I guess I should have said below average P5 team instead of below average. They'd easily be a top 5 team in the B1G imo.

I'm not moving any goalposts, just simply giving my honest assessment of the team. Shedeur seems like a generational talent at QB. He has to be in the conversation for best QB in the nation. Hunter is Charles Woods on 2.0. The lines aren't great. They can't run the ball and they don't rush the passer. Shiloh Sanders did make two huge game changing plays though.

so this week's big game - anyone got a legit argument as to why I shouldn't bet Notre Dame as a M/L dog?

LSU is free money. That line should be 30+. Arkansas cannot block anyone. Struggled to block Western Carolina, Kent St and BYU just destroyed us in the 4th quarter. It was a hold or sack every play. Perkins will annihilate us by himself. Vegas hasn’t adjusted for how bad Arkansas is this year so profit until they do.

so obvious that the coach told his players to "send a message" and "be physical" and "set the tone"

no team can get that many personal fouls on accident

there is zero analytical reason to do this, although hilariously I do believe that in a couple hundred game sample size, the team that goes first has won slightly more than 50% of the time (likely just variance)

It's not like Prime was too dumb to know the analytics though, he basically said in the postgame that he was aware of the logic for going second, and his analysts upstairs said that obviously they should go second, and he decided to just say **** it and go first because he knew they were gonna score and he wanted to put pressure on CSU, which is the kind of YOLO I can get behind. (Although probably didn't consider that going first allows CSU to go for two if they equalize)

Also entirely possible that his players goofed up the decision and he just said in the press conference that it was his choice in order to cover for them. (I am aware of David Shaw doing this at least once on some bone head clock management situation)

Hammered UNC -5 @ Pitt when it first came out.

Jurkovec is the worst quarterback I have ever seen play division 1 college football

once we got the lead we just ran dives the rest of the game and punted because we knew they literally couldn't complete a pass.

they got smoked by cincy the week before (with jurkovic going 10/32), and I thought oh maybe Cincy is actually good, but then Cincy went and lost to Miami OH so yeah, Pitt is just godawful. Somethin ain't right over there

I’m an outsider on tOSU but devil’s advocate coming into the season QB was the big question mark. They do not appear to have an Alabama situation on their hands, mcCord seems fine granted the competition has been weak (i.e. not an Alabama situation). Their usual crap-ton of talent at every position is also an issue.

That being said, I’m on ND; I’ve been a big Hartman fan for a while and think he’s a big upgrade. TOSU seems to have been crushed the two times it played a team that had an Oline and could throw the ball downfield. ND, while they may have been overrated (and outright fellated by NBC) has actually consistently been a legitimate ~ #10 team for a while against strong enough schedules to rule out “total fraud”, barring year one of a coaching change. I ain’t going with no double bet though!
