Yeah, kicking it out of bounds on the kickoff is probably correct with no time on the clock. Especially if you don't think the kicker can get it through the end zone.

But I feel pretty confident that kicking the PAT instead of kneeling is not correct.

Ryan Day can thank Freeman for throwing on second and third down when ND could have ended the game. You don't give tOSU the ball back at the end of the fourth quarter they are going to score every time.

Definitely the block return since DPI in college is only 15 yards. Even kicking the ball out of bounds on the kickoff, you'd need at least two DPIs to even attempt a 52 yarder.

Also, blocked PAT isn't the only way ND gets there. OSU could also mishandle the snap and give up the 2 points that way.

there is 1 second left on the clock.

PI is just a 15 yard penalty in college, so pretty much impossible for PI to give you a FG unless you get like 3 of them in a row
