The ratio of sports fans who claim “omg what a great lawsuit” to actually solid, winning lawsuits is like 1 million to 1.
College athletes are getting tested more than anyone in the country, and are not only able to say “I dont want to play” but can do so and still go to school for free. Professors cant do that, janitors cant, etc - only players. What about “you dont have to play if you dont want to” is so hard for you to grasp?
If you think the “some of these schools” have more football players positive with the virus than non-football players, and if you think that the activity of football has led to the virus being present where otherwise it would not be, then please show your work.
Of all the students voluntarily choosing to be on campuses all around the country Id say NCAA football players are at the low end of risk. Unless of course you think all the Sigma Nus and Kappa Deltas at places like Michigan are exercising the same degrees of care as we are seeing in athletic departments.
