Yeah, maybe a little harsh. But they won 40 straight conference games or something crazy and only one of those teams was ranked. They play a ranked team and lose by double digits. Didn’t realize their tournament run was that respectable. Just seems like it’s the same story every year.

They literally beat this same team by 20+ like two months ago. They've beaten three other ranked teams this year. Saying they won all their conference games and then lose to a ranked team by double digits is laughably disingenuous.

That writer admitted he made a mistake asking TJD that question. You don't ask that question in season. TJD plans to workout for NBA teams. If TJD comes back and IU could land a stud transfer 2 guard that would be big. Khristian Lander may also reclassify which could be huge for IU.

Yeah, and this has mostly been true year after year. They always schedule a bunch of good teams and they always do really well. But this year they did play their weakest non-conference schedule that I can remember. It's not their fault UW and UNC are garbage teams, but still, they've played the 117th toughest schedule which is lowest out of the top 50 teams (according to sagarin). They're 4-2 against the top 50 whereas Kansas (toughest schedule) is 10-3 and Baylor (31st toughest schedule) is 11-1.

I think they're properly ranked at #3. Winning at BYU would be a great win for any team in the country, but if they won they'd be over-ranked at #1. That's probably where some of the silly Gonzaga hate comes from; they get over-ranked from time to time because of their easy conference schedule (relative to other top programs anyway; WCC is a lot better than it used to be). They've had teams very deserving of the #1 ranking and they've had teams that got to #1 because polls are dumb.

This is hilarious. Evansville on pace to go 0-18 in conference, and finish the year 9-22.

...but they got a win over UK on the road.

I'm so disappointed in this year of CBB. Theres 0 teams Im excited to bet on in March. Maybe Michigan will be a team as like an 6-9 seed to put money on?

Maybe Michigan State as a 4 vs a 1? Not real confident in them though.

FSU was #21 in KenPom coming into tonight, not sure what they have to do to get any respect. They just beat Louisville by 15, after having beaten them by 13 at their place. Now 14-3 in the ACC and 24-4 overall. They had a bit of a bad loss at Indiana but other than that have lost by 5 at UVA, 5 at Dook, and 2 at Pitt way back at the start of the season. Maybe they'll break into the top 20.

This tournament is going to be awesome.

Legitimately every team seed 1-9 has a chance to get to the final four (except Baylor)

I picked a great time to have my first child. In the midst of 16 weeks paid leave, gonna be so legit catching all the action.

Evansville loss is easily the most inexplicable loss Kentucky has had in my life, and will cost Kentucky at least one seed. So bad might cost them two seeds.

I don't know how to bet basketball spreads, but seriously everyone should just bet the Michigan ML from here on out, I don't care what the odds. This team has a serious chance of not losing another game this year. Only caveat is if Livers is injured again. If Livers isn't playing stay away.

Here's the thing about this Michigan team right now. They were the best team in the country in November and now we're better than that team. It's not just cuz Livers is back. The truth is Livers isn't even our best player right now. Our secret weapon is Franz Wagner. Dude broke his wrist right before the season and probably came back too early and shot worse than a random YMCA player for most of the year. Now he's fully healed and his sweet stroke is back, along with his great defense, and the athletic ability to get any shot he wants. He's a 5* talent that would be making a serious run at the Wooden Award if it wasn't for that injury. Yes he's THAT good. We also have a veteran PG who will make all the right decisions, a veteran center who's one of the best defenders in the country, and a deep bench full of well coached players who will always put the team first. This team is the perfect mixture of NBA talent + gritty vets.

Michigan ML all the way guys. Keep rolling it over. It was forgivable if you didn't get in on Michigan vs Purdue since it wan't known if Livers was playing til tip off. Now you know. Livers is back and Wagner is just arriving. There's no excuses now. The free money is there for the taking. Don't listen to that part of yourself that thinks this is too good to be true. That's the loser part of yourself that has been blocking your success all your life. Kill that ****er off once and for all and take control of your life. I don't wanna be alone and rich. I want you all to join me.

Noone thinks that, just wondering why his formula doesn't seem to like FSU.

There can't be too many examples historically of team A having a better SOS, better record (2 fewer losses), and won both matchups against team B by 12+ points each and team B still being ranked higher.

i mean close wins against bad teams, especially at home, torch the efficiency numbers

4 pt win over 107 miami in OT
1 pt win over 59 notre dame at home
6 pt win over 97 unc at home
3 pt win over 57 syracuse at home

record and h2h have zero impact on anything

why does anyone at ESPN think that showing san jose st. - utah st. is a good idea? 51-14 at HT, lol.

meanwhile highly ranked San Diego St. is playing at the same time on another network...does ESPN have no leverage to get this game?
