Yeah I've heard that too. Seems weird but they say Cronin has issues with UCLA AD. Then maybe?

Also looks like Kenny Payne is surviving until the end of the year. Part of the problem is no assistant coach wants to come and have interim coach attached to this squad

Not sure why Chris Beard would ever leave Ole Mi$$... him and Lane Kiffin are Batman & Robin there to get max paid and do whatever they want.

Beard may or may not be a complete scumbag as a human being. But, he apparently is an amazing coach. It is frustrating to remember (as a Vegas local) that he was INKED and signed by UNLV to be their next head coach back in 2019...only to watch him flake when Bobby Knight retired from Texas Tech. Who knows, maybe UNLV would be the next Florida Atlantic?

Overlapping a bit with the famed UCLA 88-game winning streak, pretty incredibly there was another Division 1 team that went 61-1 over a stretch with the one loss by one point. I just did some trivia about the program because I have a PT whose whole family went to school there. Name the school.

Clemson's PJ Hall currently third in kenpom POY (obv crazy elite #s across the board)

Joe Girard, after 4 yrs at 'Cuse, now at Clemson shooting 45.6 3P% (a career 37.2% shooter)

Clemson can shoot (12th in the nation in eFG% at 57.5%) but don't turnover opponents (348th in the nation in defensive TO%)

crazy that this is Brownell's 14th season

PJ Hall was no match vs Bacot today. Solid UNC win at Clemson.

Hubert took a lot of crap from me, all the UNC fans, and the rest of college bball last year (and a lot of it was deserved) but he actually looks like he can coach with his own players filling out the majority of the roster. Ingram has been the sort of leader and do it all type of player vs what the defense gives, and if he doesn't score d's up and rebounds like a beast. Trimble by far has been the biggest surprise.

Cadeau just doesn't seem like a one and done. Jumping to next year I don't see how you keep Trimble off the court, or if he transfers if Ian Jackson still comes.
