You do realize they just lost to a Western Illinois team that won 8 games last year right? I'm just laughing at all the sports sites who going into the season said Wisconsin would finish in the top 5 of the BIG. It's not going to happen and I said that all the way back in April.

No thanks. I'll bet you that they don't end up in the top 5 in the BIG at the end of the year though. Tie would equal no bet.

I know it's dumb to bet against Bo but I watched them last night and they're atrocious. It's Bronson + Nigel then Khalil Iverson looks like he has potential and Showalter is decent but everyone else sucks.

Doubt a team with 4 total good players can win more than 10 games so ill take the under for $100. 10 is a tie correct?

And paypal only

Amile Jefferson is probably gonna 'break out' this year. I put break out in quotes because most of the smart duke fans have loved him forever, but he's never put up big numbers. Looks like his role is going to be bigger going forward though. 19 and 12 in the first game along with excellent defense.

There's a holy trinity of awkward Duke PFs in the last decade - Josh Hairston, Lance Thomas and Amile Jefferson. All about 6'8 ish, none are real shot blockers, or real post scorers, and none had any kind of outside shot. Hairston was the worst, Lance Thomas was okay/decent and Amile is awesome.

you forgot Dave McClure. Ryan Kelly and Kyle Singler were kinda awkward too even though they were good and very good, respectively.

Kelly and singler were much different than those other three though. They were primarily shooters.

yeah that's what i was going for - kelly and singler were shooters and 'skill guys' for the team. I was thinking about the PFs who were just grinders. I did forget mcclure though - probably because he overlapped with thomas for three years and thomas played more than him. mcclure isn't part of the trinity, he's like a minor angel or something.

amile with another double double tonight. I'm gonna miss him like crazy when he's gone, just a damn good hardworking player and cool guy.

Also, Lance ****ing Thomas has had a 5-year NBA career and is still in the league... how? HOW? If Lance can be in the NBA Amile better make it. He's not some elite prospect but he's better than Lance Thomas was man.

Chase Jeter is the next Amile. Probably with less hustle and less likability, but maybe a bit more skill. He will get some PT as a freshman then probably phased out next year as a soph like Amile was with Jabari then back playing more as a junior then will be important if unspectacular as a senior.

I predict you will be a little bit mad in 72 hrs. Also, some of your guys will probably be a little shocked and upset at a white guy with a smirk dunking on them.
