haha. This is the first I've seen him play. He's pretty ridiculous. I love his dribble skill. The guy runs straight into the gap between two guys and still gets through easily for a layup.

gg byu.

byu can absolutely beat any team in the country on a given night if jimmer is on.

Rut roh Manji

jimmer's getting laid tonight. and by laid, i mean a firm handshake.
01-27-2011 , 01:06 AM
storming the court when you're a 5.5 point favorite is really lame, imo.
01-27-2011 , 01:06 AM
Let me guess, Jimmer is deceptively quick.

Also, In b4 manji says we woulda won if Jimmer didn't drop 43, we'll win at our place, etc.

Very interested in Manji's response to this loss. Easy to blame the dry spell in the mid to late 2nd half and write off the loss?

It's okay SDST. You have a bunch of exhibition games against your conference before your next meeting with BYU. Work on shooting imo.

Jimmer 14/24 5/8 from 3 and 10-11 from the line for 43 points...and 4 rebounds! Pretty solid night.

SDSU's star getting fluids right before the game is the most obvious excuse ever
01-27-2011 , 01:10 AM
i mean, it'll be fun to troll manji, but my opinion of SDSU is essentially the same. A team right outside the top ten. One game doesn't matter that much in the scheme of things unless you're a sortbylosses.casualfan.jpg

I think Jimmer makes his own pimp juice, though. So I mean, he wouldn't need any. Unfair comparison.

this

fortunately manji is the definition of casualfan.jpg so the trolling is still acceptable

I cringed when I heard that, have a feeling I'm gonna be hearing it again a lot over the next few weeks.

uh, win the biggest game in school/conference history = storm the court

Anyone who watched the game knows that Jimmer doesn't shoot like that normally. He stated what, 5/5 from 3pters? He isn't Kobe. Unless he's a 100% shooter he was on a heater. He was on his shooting game tonight and like someone said earlier, Jimmer when he's on will beat anyone. BYU must hope that Jimmer can be on for a lot of games in a row or someone else has got to step up. SDSU played pretty poorly offensively and yet was still in the game pretty much the whole game (score is deceptive). I like our chances vs them in the future and a loss isn't necessarily the worst thing that could happen to us.

Thoughts for the future

Keep Tapley on Jimmer. DJ chasing Jimmer may have affected his offensive game a ton. That or sub DJ out.

Get the ball to Tapley/Rahon more when inside is doubled.

Make your easy shots.

I think we were on the wrong side of variance tonight and cannot wait until the game at SDSU

Hope they're top-5 for the Big Monday beatdown that is upon them

c'mon manji. putting jimmer aside, BYU took you guys out of what you wanted to do for long stretches of the 2nd half. your offense was pretty weak and BYU is only the Kenpom #29 defense. that doesn't bode well for the future as you guys got tight and i didn't really see an adjustment being made or a player stepping up.
