certainly has been difficult. nobody foresaw UNC missing out on the NCAAs. and there is plenty of blame to spread around for this lost season.

that being said, there have been some great moments: pwning Sparty yet again, Hansbrough's jersey retirement ceremony, the program's 100 year celebration culminating this past Friday with an alumni game that featured 70 former players (the oldest of which was a senior in 1942 and will turn 90 in August), Roy outworking k for Harrison Barnes.

the future is bright with the 2011/2012 version of the Heels likely to be in the title hunt. as a fan i'll take occasional brilliance (read FFs and titles) over consistent mediocrity any day of the week. who knows this decade might mirror the last with a lost season or two sprinkled in with FFs and hanging NCAA banners.

looking forward to going to tonight's Ga Tech game and watching the future grow in another ACC road game.

it is sad how much the acc tourney has fallen off. expansion absolutely killed it.

you used to have to give 1000s of dollars to the AA to be able to buy 1 ticket for every 2 season tickets you have. now my dad can get tickets to it and he gave them 50 bucks last year and hasnt been to a single game.
