Knee-Jerk reactions

Noel - has great defensive potential, good form on his shot. Seems like he could be the next Serge Ibaka if he's available to keep his knees from exploding.

KJ - Philly's best player today, I still have no idea how he was available in the 2nd round

Pierre Jax - RIP

Gordon - Lots and lots of bad mixed with the occasional amazing. May be the next Anthony Randolph.

Oladipo - Why is this guy here?

Peyton - Mega-lol. Possibly this year's Trey Burke.

Still disappointed Nerlens doesn't have any hint of a Boston accent.

zeke was so good at hoops is sad u guys think he was overrated. he was westie with a jumper. just put so much pressure on the defense. just like u guys looked at westbrook and said nah. zeke was just never seen before quick. ok tiny archibald. but zeke was strong and high bb iq... a leader. and fast. had those sick and one handles too you know those streetball dribbling moves first

He's a man without honor and was responsible for ruining the game for 15 years (with assists from Stern and Riley). He has the smile of a Haitian cab driver who's turning a ten minute cab ride into an intercontinental voyage.

I hope everything bad in life happens to him and he's most of the way there. I hope Christian Laettner sends him a picture of his gold medal on his birthday every single year.

Also, LOL Knicks.

Nice to see Noel go 7/7 from the line. Would be helpful if he could get that up to at least 65% this year.

He was 53% in college fwiw.

pls clarify the realness of the shabazz in question next time

its extremely unlikely that a 53% shooter goes 7/7 so I'm going to use some maths and extrapolate within 2 standard deviations, that is, I am 95% confident that NOEL's "true" free throw shooting % is actually 102.3%

that said the early returns are ugly...its hard to be great when you are the smallest guy on the floor, cant shoot, and are not that explosive

fake shabazz otoh is complete rags. he can still be a bench player but his upside is so low. mega spew by labron, at least he can still skip town to dissociate himself from the pick

so sad for pierre, i really thought he was gonna be fun to watch and even sell some tickets this year.

aaron craft looked like he might be the guy to grab pjack's roster spot, white guys who can really play defense and get steals are such a rare commodity that he's got at least a little bit of nba potential.

noel probably deserved to be credited with 5-6 steals and with 7/7FT after brett brown spent last year "rebuilding" his shot i think we all know who was responsible for developing kawhi leonard's stroke in san antonio.

really interested to see what he can do with a year of experience under his belt and SVG as his coach.

to me he's obv the most salvageable disappointing rookie

agree, although I wasn't nearly as disappointed, mostly because he played positive defense as a rookie wing
