that's interesting if it actually works in the nba, i can't think of anyone other than kirilenko who had such elite reflexes that they legitimately made up for being at a strength disadvantage

he did get a buttload of stls in college doing that same thing, including stuff like picking the pockets of pgs in the pnr. his combo of length/reflexes/agility is legit historically ultraelite

Of course Gobert is sick

still can't believe he fell to the 27th pick while he's prolly better than 80% of last year draft just by standing in the paint with his arms up

noel and kj mcdaniels can play some really sick 2 on 2 defense together, if they are on the same side of the court you should just swing the ball to the other wing because your best outcome is just not giving up a steal or a block.

Im pretty glad that i put wiggins > jabari. It was probably really dumb to put nurk and capela higher than wiggins, fine to put them ahead of broni.

Still think da biid is >>>. Exum is still the clear cut #2 to me as well. i'd say smart gordon wiggins all in same tier 3-5 range. If you included last years draft i'd put giannis and nerl in that tier as well.

i'm checking out in 30

hoya's hitting the road, i'm here all day and flying out at 1 AM. what's everybody else up to? i'm definitely hitting up mcbuckets vs lavine at 1:30 and exum at 5:30. but i have some time to kill before/after.

I'm confident Exum will be the best player in this class barring Embiid basically learning to stay healthy for 2 consecutive months

The thing I've learned is that if you're high on a player, SL matters if they do well. If you're low on a player and they do well in SL, then LOL SL.

Im probably going to do a big writeup on summer league but the short version is that its not skewing my perception much. Its just cool to see these guys move a notch up in competition. Pretty much everybody has displayed the strengths and weaknesses i expected and if i could re-rank i wouldnt make any major major adjustments

How gordon in the same tier as smart or wiggins wtf, gordon wont be a shot blocker nor rodman esque rebounder nor will he ever have anything to offer offensively. Ill keep saying it, best case scenario gordon is a taller tony allen. Both smart & wiggins can play d + have offensive upside, dont get why you still love gordon dean.

Gordon smart and wiggins are all in the same boat. Awesome defensive upside, but all are massive work-in-progresses on offense

Fwiw im at t&m right meow watching ougie and lavine

Dean there is a huge difference between a work in progress & a train wreck. Gordon currently can not do anything offensively, cant shoot from anywhere on the court, handles isn't good, no post moves. I dont see gordon being anything positive offensively ever where as both smart & wiggins could be pretty decent.

p.s how good can mcbuckets be?, he looks like reddick moving without the ball & getting open n cold blooded shooter + has post moves & is 220-225lbs and fairly lean at 6'7 so size not a problem at the 3, he could be pretty good but wanna see him vs nba comp first.
