Did some NBA surfing last night and really locked in on some games. As much as watching Kings/Pistons and just lol'ing at the idiot GMs who signed/acquired some of these players and assembled some of these rosters, it was the opposite for the Pacers. I know they've been injured all season but they have way too much talent to be worse than the Knicks, Raptors and Hornets, nevermind outside the play-in spots in the East

Okongwu looks like a unicorn - can't really think of his comparison. Athletic 6-8 player who can rebound, defend much bigger players w/o getting in much foul trouble (looked really good vs Embiid, Giannis , and KAT last night), can finish quickly and smoothly around the rim, and has decent offense like 10 feet away from the basket - and should get better there. Hawks will have an interesting rotation decision when Capella comes back in a few days.

What will push Russ over the edge is Melo waxing philosophical about his need to learn a new role. And scoring more on fewer shots.

Hornets are good.

They come in waves.

The Hornets are actually pretty damn good. If we can stay healthy, we can compete for a top 6 spot.

Miles is showing some star to borderline superstar potential. If he keeps improving, watch out.

Melo keeps getting better.

Oubre has been a nice pickup.

Gordon has stayed on the floor.

Terry has actually been a bargain in that Kemba swap.

Cody Martin might actually be decent at basketball.

And we haven’t even really been running Bouknight, Kai, or JT.

Hoping one of Kai or JT can transform into the athletic big this team is missing.

They’re averaging the most points in the East and second most in the league. However, they also allow the second most in the league, but have been improving the last few weeks.

They also attempt the 6th most 3s with the 4th highest percentage. Borrego is showing signs of being a good coach.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for this team. And I’m ****ing terrified they’re going to screw up the contracts.
