Why would Philly ever do that trade? Rwb has flamed out of 4 teams in 4 years and has negative asset value. While Ben Simmons has taken a flame thrower to his own public perception and overall asset value, he’s still young, fairly accommodated in terms of salary, and only has 1 strike on his resume (most of which is either off the court and/or mental health related).

There’s practically nothing the lakers can attach to a) make salaries work and b) match the asset compensation needed.

Lakers do not have a first rounder they can trade until 2027 because of the weird way they structured the Davis deal so lol at Westbrook for anything. Westbrook gonna get the stretch provision then absolutely ****ing destroy some stupid team's 2023 rotation in the playoffs.

Some rumors that they want to try to a bad contract swap with Cleveland for Love and Rubio because Lebron wants someone who can Fit In but like, Love has a bottom 3 or so contract in the league and still makes $20M less than RWB does next season lol

Love and Rubio have been OK vets for the Cavs as well, a team that is arguably the biggest surprise in the league.
